November 22nd Thanksgiving 2018

It has been an amazing week. We had a beauty Thanksgiving day today.  Everyone was here except Emily and her family,  Lisa and her family, and Kimberly and Caleb. Kimberly went into labor yesterday and she had a little baby boy at around 5:30. We were glad to hear everything went well.  We have been waiting all day for word about her having the baby. But she finally did and she is naming him Wesley. He weighed 8"5 and is 21 inches long. He is a very cute little boy.  We are so grateful that things are well and he is healthy and strong. We are so happy for her and Caleb.  Michelle, Tamara, and I took Caleb and Kimberly Thanksgiving dinner, plus pie. They had the baby  at Lehi Hospital. I'm sure they appreciated it but Kimberly kind of needed us gone.  She hadn't nursed the baby yet and she was trying to do that. But it was still good to see that they were doing great.  Back to the day, we had a wonderful day.  Everyone worked hard and we all ate together as a family.  I made the turkey, dressing, gravy, coconut cream pie and banana cream pie. Jennifer made 2 pecan pies, a mixed berry pie and a chocolate pie. Michelle made some dressing that Neil likes and 2 apple pies plus apple pomegranate salad. Karalee made the sweet potato casserole, potatoes and brought drinks. Mike brought orange jello in memory of Wyatt and a vegetable.(carrots) Phillip did 3 blueberry pies, plus 2 apple pies and a beautiful salad that Katrina did. Phillip also made sourdough rolls. We are so blessed to have so much, and such wonderful food, a new little grandson and incredibly Thanksgiving day full of family, wonderful food, and a special day of being so grateful for so many blessings. We all missed Wyatt, but know that he is where he should be and he is certainly with us in these special family gatherings.
