January 31st

It is crazy to think that it is the last day in January. Our mortgage payment is due once again. Our home will go into forclosure tomorrow unless it is paid. We need a huge miracle to happen tomorrow. I know that our lives are filled with miracles everyday so I am counting on the biggest one ever.

We attended all of our church meetings today. It was a great Sunday once again. I am just so grateful for the spirit of this day. I am priviledged to be apart of the only true church upon the face of the year. I wish I could share it with everyone. It is an amazing experience to have the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life. And have great ancestors that brought it to me.

January 30th

A crazy Saturday. We went to do ink bottles with the M's again today. We left at 10:30 in the morning and didn't get home until 9:30 at night. It was crazy and we are all exhausted. I know that having the twins there was fun because they can make some money. But it is a lot of work for 10 dollars an hour. If we didn't need the money so bad I wouldn't do it at all. We did almost 9000 bottles. You are busy all the time and never have a break, except to eat. I hate that our family needs to do something so crazy. I know that we all need money, so we will continue to do it. I just can't quit understand the pay when we are working so hard. When it is all the money you make in a week it is hard for us not to jump at the chance. My pray is that F will soon have a great job where we can do things like this because we want a little extra money instead of need it so desperately. But our lives continue to look up where the future is concerned, so I will continue to believe in the miracle that is headed our way.

January 29th Friday

A day that I will not soon forget. Tambam went to her Math 1050 class and Kimbim went to see her counselor at Orem High so she could find out what classes she had to take to graduate. Well she came home unhappy again. She is missing a lot of credits according to her counselor. She needed to take 2 more classes and 8 packets to get through and graduate. She was sick. We did find that she could take 2 classes at BYU at a cost of 95 dollars instead of the packets at 45 dollars a piece. I was heart sick. My daughter has been in High School full time. She gets exceptional grades. She has taken a lot of concurrent enrollment classes how could this be possible. Well soon my daughter Karabear grabed her classes for the last 3 years and started adding things up. Mr. Grossbeck hasn't even added in her concurrant enrollment art class and that is worth 1 credit per semester. I don't know what is going on but we will find out Monday. I know that miracles happen, they continue to in this family. So until then we will continue to trust in the Lord.

We went to the temple today because we weren't able to go yesterday. Each time I go I am just grateful for the wonderful experience of being there.

Jenn and Derrick took us our to dinner tonight at Red Lobster, then we watched the Jazz Game at their home. The greatest thing was after the Jazz game we watch "Leap Year." I loved it, it was so funny and a great movie. I loved the night out. It has been a long time. My children are amazing. Thank-you to them for a great evening. Another little miracle in our life. Plus they paid us for some work that we had done at their house. It was greatly appreciated and needed. Another little miracle in our life.

January 28th

What a crazy day this has been. We got up to go to the temple this morning, we got all ready and suddenly the phone rang. It was Kimberly and she was in tears again. She studied hard for her Math test and then was told she no longer could take the test to be in Math 1050 and she was out of the class. So we headed to the High School to find out what was going on. After hours of talking on the phone to several different people we were finally given permission for her to take the test one last time. Then if she took the acuplacer test at UVU and passed it then she would be allowed in the classroom at UVU to take the test. Her teacher would let her take the test even if the test only had a couple of minutes left. She would give her the full time to take it. So we ran to the High School to get Kimberly's notes for the test, while she was taking the acuplacer test. We left her at UVU to take the test and ran. When we returned there was Kimberly. She had taken the test and failed it miserably. She had to get a 50 on it. The first time she took it she got a 37, the second time she took it she got a 45. This time when she took it she got a 28. My husband and I were in shock. She knew she had passed it, she said it was much easier than she remembered, but that isn't what happened she got a 28. I knew she had had a frustrating day but I didn't think it could be this bad. Apparently as she studied for the test last night she prayed hard. She told Heavenly Father if he didn't want her in the class to help her get below a 30 because she didn't want to get a 49 and be disappointed. Well her pray was answered and she was happy. The miracle of the day was that she really wanted her twin to take the test for her because she doesn't test well. But she knew that she would be blessed if she did it herself. She would be one of integrity. I am so proud of her because of her happiness inspite of things not working out for her to stay in that class. But most of all I am grateful that I have children with integrity. A daughter that would sooner be on the Lords side than that of the worlds. That is my miracle for this day. Sometimes things don't happen they way we want them to. But it takes one of great courage to be a daughter of the Lord.

January 20th Wednesday

Today is another crazy electrical day. Frank and I have been working on electrical all day. I had to leave with my children to attend young women tonight. They are tying quilts for all the Laurel's, and it was Tamara's turn to bring her material and start hers. Thanks to my mother and sister she actually had what she needed to tie it. They supplied everything. I bought fleece with my sister. Because my girls love basketball so much. I picked fleece that had basketball, football and soccer balls on it. It is a dark blue. We actually got it all tied but Tamara collapsed in pain during the tying. Her chest hurt really bad. I got her home in a hot tub and that helped. I think she tore a muscle through her sternum. At any rate she is in a lot of pain and has a hard time breathing. I know she will do better tomorrow. But we have experienced work today and we finished a quilt. So all in all I consider it an amazing day full of goodness.

Frank finished the electrical at my daughters. He got home at about 10 o'clock and headed to his parents. His mother goes in for surgery tomorrow, she is having some cataract's removed. So she wanted a priesthood blessing. My husband said that the blessing was amazing, he felt like is father gave such an amazing blessing that he reminded him of a prophet of all. He says that he felt like he was standing next to Abraham. He just hopes some day he can be the man that is father is. I am so grateful for my husband and consider it a miracle that I have him. He is wonderful.

January Tuesday 19th

We went to help the M's to do ink bottles again tonight. It is always pretty crazy when you do that because it takes us into the night. We usually don't get home before midnight. But I know how desperately we need money, so right now I can't complain. We have a lot of bills that need to be taken care of.

My son has a meeting again this week with an investor. We are praying hard that a miracle will happen and this will be the one. We are really excited to even get the opportunity to meet with this investor. This guy is an amazing guy that my son met last year at Christmas time, for some reason my husband knew that my son would have another opportunity with him this Christmas time. Thursday on January the 21st is really close to Christmas. This miracle came in a round about way that is the greatest miracle I have ever witnessed. We are certainly being blessed by a Heavenly Father that knows us all individually. We are excited for the miracle.



My husband has spent the day at my son-in-laws, working on some electrical that he needs done. He ran home just in time for us to head to SLC to work on ink bottles. It has been a crazy day but one of miracles. We have had some work.

January 18th Monday

It has been a holiday today and once again J and I have been working on her pillows. Sometimes I think that our husbands don't love us for the time that we spend in the sewing room. But we do know how to create. Besides J only gets certain days off of work, and that happens to be holidays or Saturdays. We almost got another pillow done. We will soon be finished with our project. My sister Jeanne called and asked me to make a dress for her son's reception. It will be the first week in February, so that is my next project. She brought me over the material. The pattern I hope isn't difficult. Although it is all lined.

We cleaned the church again tonight. We will continue to do it through this month. Then we won't have to clean it again until April. We have had good people help us and that is always a plus. The work went fast tonight and we did it in an hour. I consider it a miracle when we can all work together in a service capacity for the Lord. It makes us all feel good. I makes for a great family home evening.

Sunday 17th of January

I have loved today because it is Stake Conference. I loved listening to such great talks. The presidency of our stake spoke. They had other people as well. A temple president, husband and wife spoke. It was an uplifting experience to be there. We also had our family over to eat again today. We made roast and all the trimmings, plus I made apple pies. They were extremely good. I have learned something new in making pies. I think the older I get I realize that I continue to learn something new every day. You are never to old to keep learning. We had great family time and talked about alot. We are excited that our son-in-law is running for congress. He will be great. We are super excited for him and that is a miracle.

January 16th Saturday

I have spent quite some time lately helping my daughters with projects. Emily wanted me to help her with her love sac. The cover on it was nasty. We ran to the walmart and bought some nice fabric. Then she took her love sac all apart and we created a pattern. We salvaged the zipper. Then we made the new cover for the pillow. By the time we got done we had created a masterpiece. Unfortunately our masterpiece was a little to small for the pillow, so we needed some help to try and squeeze it in the pillow. With some strong muscle from my son Phillip we finally succeeded. A few stitches came out of the seam but we expected that. Phillip did succeed at getting it in its cover. It looks great. Emily and I were so proud of ourselves. It was a fun thing to just create something you can be proud of.

J and I also created a pattern for her really big pillows on her bed. I don't know what they are called but I do know that you can rest against them to watch TV, because they are so huge. J and I spent a whole day on the pattern for one pillow. But now that we have done one and it looks fantastic, the next 3 will be easy. I am just so happy that I can create patterns, and sew. That is a miracle in my life that I am extra happy about.

We attended our Stake Conference Adult meeting tonight. It was wonderful. I was happy to be their. We sat by J and DL. I am grateful to have the opportunity to attend Stake Conference. I loved the fact that a lot of what was talked about was the temple. It certainly is my place for peace.

January 15th Friday

We took K's car into the shop yesterday and a huge miracle happened. We found that the main computer which is out is under warranty. All they wanted to replace for money was the battery, and one of the battery cables which they would charge us $250.00 to replace it. The miracle was we told them they would replace them, then we checked the battery out today and it was under warranty. K bought it last November and it was warrantied for 3 years. So we got that replaced free, then the cable was about $20.00. So we were able to get her car fixed for just a few dollars. I am glad that this miracle happened because we had so much trauma in Logan and paid out money which wasn't even necessary. So this was a miracle truly sent from Heaven.

We got everything all ready so that they could replace it. But unfortunately they called and lost the key. So it won't be fixed until Tuesday, because the repair center isn't opened on Saturday and Monday is a holiday.

January 14th Thursday

Frank has spent the entire day working on the M's car. He has replaced brakes, had the rotates ground down. He also replace the gears in the door to make the window go up and down, rather than taped shut. He worked all day, ran from place to place, but he finished it. I consider it a miracle just because he has had work to do, so that we can make some money. I am grateful for all the little miracles that we have been given to help make us some money.

My husband also took our daughters car in to have it fixed. We found out the main computer needs to be replaced, but it is under the warranty. Some things need to be done on it that Frank has offered to do before the computer can be fixed. He will do that tomorrow.

January 13th Wednesday

Today is kind of another crazy day, just because Kimberly went to take her test at UVU for Math and didn't make it in. It has been a hard day for her because her art projects were also late because of the test. She has one art project that will go, and one that my go. Right now the judges have to decide whether either will go. The first set of judges put their OK on it, now the second set of judges has to OK it. I know how good she is. I find it amazing that I have so many children who are truly talented at art. I appreciate all of them. It has been a day of drama for sure. But the good thing about a day of drama is that it can change so quickly. Karalee called and said she may be able to take the test again. Just when you think things have gone up in smoke another miracle happens. Right now we are counting on the best solution, whatever that solution my be.

January 12th Tuesday

It has been another kind of crazy day because once again Kimberly and Tamara are against crunch time. Their 3 art projects have to be done by tonight. They have worked really hard but have not completely finished, so working again tonight for a good grade in art is on their top priority list. But they have to have art work done for the art show by Thursday. So busy busy girls. Plus Kimberly is once again studying for her math, she will take it tomorrow. I pray she will do well.

I absolutely think life can be so good at times and I am thankful for those times. It is amazing to me that things continue to get better about the business. KM is in California right now talking to some people for himself as well as us. Miracles continue to happen.

January 11th

Monday, and a good day because we attended the temple. I love going on Monday mornings because the temple closes at 10:00 A.M. and it is quiet and no one is walking around when you get through the finally session. It is just so peaceful. Not that the temple isn't peaceful anyway, but for some reason it is almost breath taking to walk through the temple with no one there but the workers. It is almost as if you are experiencing heaven. I love it. My miracle for this day.

Kimberly and Tamara have been studying a lot lately. Kimberly for her acu-placer test at UVU. Them both doing their UVU math on line. Plus they have been doing their AP art for the Springville art show. So Frank and I were lucky enough to go and clean the church tonight without their help, but we did have a lot of people with us. So it only took us an hour. But we accomplished it and my girls were up late doing their art again. They put a lot of time into their class.

January 10th Sunday

It was a great day today, as all Sunday's are. It is just the spirit of the day that makes it so wonderful. We had some great meetings. I am so grateful that I was able to attend them all. A cute little tender moment that mean't so much to me happened today. K and T were standing in the hallway at church. They have been looking forward to Bro. Nielson being their teacher. He came up and explained that he was called to a BYU ward to serve, but it was really hard on him because he has always wanted to be this group of kids teacher. He loves them and has been in the Young Men for a few years. The kids just think he is great. At any rate these kids will be headed off to college after this year, so they will be gone out of the ward. Brother N was crying when he tried to explain it to my girls. It was very touching. It made me realize how much the people in the ward care about the youth. It was a little miracle for me today. Soon things will change big time for me.

January 9th Saturday

It has been a great day. I cleaned my whole house. It took some time because I had to do it myself. My twins went sledding with their Youth group. Then they went to the UVU to play in the institute building. They had a great time, except they are kind of sore. The snow has turned to ice and it makes a pretty bumpy ride. But they enjoyed themselves and that is all that counts.

I have been super tired today, but what do you expect. I cleaned my house in spite of it, and that is a true miracle. I am grateful for the opportunity to do the work we did last night, even though it made me tired. Thanks to the M's family. They worked hard, we did try to help all that we could.

My son has had some problems since he got home from his mission. He is doing so much better and that is a miracle for me. Sometimes going to the doctor to find a solution to things can be extremely expensive, so I am grateful for the knowledge we can all obtain on the Internet. A miracle is found in the Internet.

January 8th Friday

I can say I am happy for this day. Because my twins had to turn everything in today. Unfortunatedly they didn't have everything done for the Springville Art show. They have to turn that in on Tuesday. I worry about them completing that because they seem to get in to moods to do art only at certain times. This time isn't one of them. They have a lot to complete. I just hope that they make it. The weekend goes by so fast. But we are looking for optimism here so they can make it.

Frank and I had the opportunity to travel to SLC to do some bottling of ink for a company that KM is consulting for. We left at about 5:00 P.M. and got home at 2:30 A.M. We were doing it to make money. Right now we are pretty desperate. I am so grateful for the miracle to do this, it was work and that is always an amazing miracle to me. I am grateful for the opportunities we have been given to earn some money.

Thursday January 7th

My twins came home so happy from school. They have accomplished what they needed to in some of their classes. Tomorrow they have to have everything done in the other half of their classes. Semester time is always a time to watch what you say, because tears my come forth at any minute. I am going to be glad when tomorrow is over. They have three different art projects due tomorrow and once again they are not done. So they may be up half the night completing them. But I am so grateful for the talent in art that they have. They have both done amazing this year in learning new skills. They cook great, sew great and do art great. What better skills than this do they need to become a wonderful mother. They are on their way to learning what they need to that is for sure. I count their accomplishments as a great miracle. I have watching them both do some amazing things this year.

My son in law stopped by tonight. He lives 4 hours away so we were happy to see him. He came up here for a few meetings. We feed him, then he announced some amazing news about his future. I am so happy for him. I know it isn't going to be easy for him or my daughter, but at the same time I am plenty proud of their decision. I will tell you more about their decision later. Let's just say it is certainly a miracle.

January 6th Wednesday

It was so fun today to have my oldest son bring up my little granddaughter. She is just learning how to climb the stairs. My husband was sitting on the first landing, so she crawled all the way to him. The next thing you knew, she say me at the top of the stairs. She got out of her grandfathers arms and crawled to me. It was so cute to see her, she is growing up so fast. She is such a cute little grand daughter because she has blond hair and it sticks up everywhere. She looks like a little chick that you just want to hold because it is so cute.

My daughter has been so stressed about getting into Math 1050. She tried to test out of it but made it into Math 1010. I think that is great, but the High School offered that last semester and not this semester, so she was pretty concerned. But another miracle happened and her teacher allowed her in. She just needs to retake the test on Monday. That is a wonderful thing for her.

January 5th Tuesday

I started the day out with attending the temple again. We need the help of the Lord today. Another meeting is taking place between KM and KA so once again we are praying hard. I felt the spirit so strong today and felt like I was where I needed to be. The person I was doing the work for was definitely with me and I can't deny that. I felt just an over whelming feeling today to not worry about the future. The Lord is definitely taking care of us and orchestrates everything in our lives. I can't hardly believe the miracles so far. We can truly feel the guiding hand of the Lord. I am just so completely humbled today.

One of my girls has some things to work out in school. I know everything will work out for her. My girls are amazing and the Lord will certainly take care of them. My daughter in Pittsburgh is having some struggles right now too. She is doing some amazing service today and the Lord will certainly bless her because of her dedication. Others in my family who are struggling with things will as well get the help they need. I know they will all truly be blessed. I am grateful for miracles.

January 4th

We got up and went to the temple this morning. KM has a meeting today and we are praying for him and the success of that meeting. It amazes me how much we are blessed with good people in our lives, and one of those blessings is the M family. They are wonderful people and are very kind to us as the C family.

It has been one of those days when I wanted to accomplish so much, but I haven't accomplished all I wanted too. But I started the day out right so it was rewarding. We had family night tonight. We studied Elder Holland's talk in the Ensign for January 2010. If you haven't read it do so it is amazing. It talks about forgetting the past and moving on. He talks about Lot's wife and looking back to the city of Sodom and Gomorrah, then turning to stone. I found it interesting because he likens us to Lot's wife when we look to the past, because in reality that is what Lot's wife was doing. Wishing that she were back in that city, rather than knowing that the Lord would take care of her. The talk is called, "The Best Is Yet To Be." You can look it up. It is a talk we all need to hear and reflect on often. Thank-you for my miracles. I know "The Best Is Yet To Be".

January 3rd 2009 Sunday

It was a beautiful day today. Snow on the ground and warm outside. But it was not only beautiful outside, but going to church was beautiful. We participated in some great meetings. It was fast and testimony meeting which is always wonderful. I bore my testimony, but I feel sorry for the bishopric, they had to watch me shake uncontrollably. And because of it I cut my testimony short. But the Lord knows what is in my heart, he is the only one that really matters. But I am grateful for the opportunity to bare my testimony.

We went to dinner at my daughters, it was incredible as usual. She made chicken enchiladas, rice, black beans, salad, and corn. Then she topped it off with German chocolate cake and ice cream. Plus we enjoyed a family game. We had a fantastic time. It was a Sunday of enjoyable company and a day of spiritual upliftment. A day of miracles in my book.

January 2nd

I hoped to attend the temple today. We actually got ready and left. By the time we reached the temple, we realized it was packed. Tons of people were there. The parking lot and the roadways were packed. Also the church next doors parking lot was packed. We decided to go early Monday morning. So we traveled the distance home. Which took us about 20 minutes. I wished we could have attended. I felt like I needed it today. But I realized how much we needed to get done, so I feel that it was the best decision. Frank needed to check out a washer at my daughter and her husbands house. Then we needed to check out some electrical work that needed to be done at my oldest daughters home. We accomplished all that. We will work on the electrical the first part of next week. The washer will need to be replaced. But all is done. I am pretty excited because my oldest daughter invited us to Sunday dinner. That to me was wonderful. I feel like with the holidays I've cooked and continued to cook, so it is nice to have a break. I get to have tomorrow off because it is also fast Sunday. Another great miracle, to have a day without having to go into the kitchen.

We are hearing more good news on the business and that is exciting as well.

January 1st Friday

We have had a good day today. My family all got together this evening and we had French Dipped Sandwiches. They were wonderful. We all enjoyed one anothers company. I am excited for a new year. This year will be our year and things will work out for the C family. We are so excited to start a new year and make some new goals. I am starting to make a few new goals myself and as a family we hope to improve. One thing that I hope we can keep up on this year is our scripture study and prayer. It always helps when pray is involved. I am just grateful to start a new year and to be a part of 2010. Miracles are happening all around us. I know the Lord is instrumental in all our lives. I can see it on a daily bases.
