We had a great garage sale today, because we got rid of what we needed to in the garage. It was a lot of fun watching some of the people. One of the last guys was Mexican. We gave him the big beautiful heavy desk of Mikes, the dishwasher, stove, built in microwave, new bathroom sink and the heavy beautiful round kitchen table for $60.00. He received a lot of stuff, but I didn't feel bad because I know that he will use it or give it to someone who will use it. It made me happy. We also sold a two seat stroller to a lady for $2.00 and she almost started to cry. It was marked at $10.00. She said I have two little children and I have wanted one of these for a long time. We were thrilled that she got it. These people made the garage sale worth while. I love it when people really appreciate what you do for them. Neil made pretty much all the sales, and giving stuff away. It was fun to watch. He sold his grandmothers sewing machine for $10.00 and the lady that bought it was so thrilled. She was a little Mexican lady. It was fun to watch her get it. A great day.
Kimberly and Tamara have gone to a barbecue with some school friends tonight. I hope they enjoy themselves. We are happy that they get to have some fun. My graduates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

May 28th Friday
It has been a crazy day but so rewarding. Kim and Tam graduated. Everyone of my children that could make it were there. It was so fun to see Tamara and Kimberly walk through the "O". They walked through one after the other. We enjoyed watching everyone that we knew walk through as well. Neil and Michelle got there late, but they made it. They made Kimberly and Tamara each a candy necklace. There favorite candy for sure. We took a while to find Tamara and Kimberly after the commencement exercises. It was in the Marriot Center and they had about 500 in their graduating class, so it took a long while. But finding them afterwards was a real chore. When we finally did, the pictures started. Some of their friends came up and wanted pictures as well, then suddenly we spotted Elder Holland. He was there watching one of his granddaughters graduate. It was so fun to see him, but more fun when Kimberly and Tamara got a picture with him. Michelle walked up to him and said, Elder Holland can I shake your hand, you are one of my favorite people. His response was you are one of my favorite people as well. It was fun to watch how excited each of my children got when they saw him. Jennifer asked him if they could have a picture with him and the twins. She took the picture and Michelle took one as well. But the most interesting part is that Jennifer was shaking like a leaf. I have never seen anyone shake so bad except me. They asked me to tell about the twins in Relief Society at the first of the month. Because they will soon go to Relief Society so I has to introduce them to everyone. Well I got up to speak and had each one of the girls at my side. They had to hold me because I was shaking so bad. I know how Jennifer felt. But it was a very rewarding experience to see the whole experience with Elder Holland happen, because he is such a wonderful person.
After the graduation Frank and I took Kimberly and Tamara out to eat, as we have done all of our children on their graduation day. We took Kimberly and Tamara to Chili's and had some incredible food. I very much enjoyed it. Then we returned home to the rest of the family. We watched a movie called "Leap Year". It was very enjoyable and an enjoyable day. May 27th Thursday
We spent the morning at Orem High. We helped move a lot of things from the old school to the new one. It was a lot of walking and a lot of work. I thought we would be able to stay there more than our 2 hours, but we were exhausted by the time our time was done. We did enjoy being together as a family and seeing the new school. But the days of our children being in school are over. We have moved on to a new time in our life. We have greatly enjoyed the years, and yet at times have not been easy. We are just grateful that all our children graduated from High School. It is hard to believe that the time has passed. We have cried, cheered, felt pain and happiness through the years of our children in school. But all in all we are very happy that we are at this point in our life. Great going children for all your accomplishments!
Neil and Michelle didn't make it up tonight. They will be here for the graduation which starts tomorrow at 12:30. That means getting up early in the morning for them. We will see them when they get here.

May 26th Wednesday
I have been trying to get my house clean today. Tamara is at home because she doesn't have any school today but Kimberly does. It is rather interesting but that is the way that it is. Kimberly called me at 9:15 and asked me to come an get her. I did and she has bad stomach cramps. So she wasn't able to make it to her study hall class. Today is the last day of school. Tomorrow they will be moving from one school to the other Orem High School. It is the end of the old Orem High. It will be knocked down within the week. I think it is kind of funny because I graduated from there and so did all my children and brothers and sisters. I am very grateful that I got to be a part of all of this and my children got to experience what I did. We will be excited to see the old go down and the new be done. If it wasn't earthquake safe I am glad my children are not there anymore.
I am grateful that I got my house cleaned today, because Michelle and Neil are supposed to be up here tomorrow. We are suppose to have a garage sale on Saturday for all Neil's campaign donations. We will be happy to get our garage cleaned out. That will be a miracle!

Tuesday May 25th
I have been trying to clean my house. I have accomplished cleaning out the room where the girls use to sleep and making it a room for my other children who come to visit. The room Phillip use to sleep in I have make the sewing room. I am pretty excited because everything worked out perfect and I accomplished a lot. It is crazy how long it takes and how much I get worn out. I will worry about the rest of the house tomorrow. I just feel happy that those two rooms are looking so good. Frank got all the bills caught up today, except of course our house bill and second mortgage. It is going to take alot more time to catch up those. I am grateful for the miracle of accomplishing what we have.
Monday 24th of May
It has been a pretty crazy evening once again. Kimberly and Tamara have had a major art project once again. We thought they were through, but another one. Tamara chose to paint her and Kimberly. She did an incredible job. Kimberly chose to draw and charcoal each family member just like the beginning of the show the Brady bunch. So she has done a lot of work. She did a beautiful job on each sibling. I can't believe how good my daughters are. They are amazing. I hope that they continue to draw and done lose the talent. It would be a sad day to see them quit. They have worked so hard this year and have improved so much. They also have some exams tomorrow to study for and they had some today. On Friday they went to another art museum to check things out and write a report on it. It is crazy what AP art has required of them. But they have had to learn to discipline themselves, which will make them better people. Well Friday is graduation, so these days are over for awhile.
Sunday May 23rd
It has been a wonderful Sabbath Day because we got to hear from the last of the Seniors speak, and it was another farewell for a young man in our ward. He is a relative of the Levi family and his name is Jacob. He is going to Hawaii on his mission. He already speaks the language because he has lived there before. He is Polynesian. He will be an incredible missionary. The rest of our Sunday meetings were incredible as well.
It was Tam and Kim's seminary graduation tonight. They have spent 4 years in Seminary and haven't gotten any credit for any hours they have spent there. I am so proud of them. They have loved everyone of their seminary teachers. They have inspired them so much. Many of our family home evenings have been centered around their seminary lessons. They are wonderful girls and it is good to know that each of my children have accomplished graduating from Seminary. We are so happy that they have. It is a miracle in our life that they have been blessed by such wonderful people, who have been such wonderful teachers.

Saturday May 22nd
It has been a good day because we had a lot of fun this evening. Kimberly and Tamara were invited by Jennifer and Derrick to go to a show and go out to dinner. I was a little bummed. Then Jennifer called to invited Frank and I as well. It was so fun. I had a pepper steak sandwich and a salad. It was extremely good. Then we went to the to see "Letters to Juliet". It was a great show and had a great ending. It was about a lady who was older and had left a letter inside a stonewall about her boyfriend. A young girl went to Italy and found the letter with a group of ladies that took all the letters from the wall and answered them. This young girl wanted to answer the old ladies letter so all the ladies that answered the letters agreed to let her. She was there with her finance'. So she answered the letter. The old lady came to find her long lost true love. It is fun to watch what the outcome is and how long it takes her to find her one true love. I will leave the rest for you to watch. But I greatly enjoyed it. Thank-you Jennifer and Derrick. It has been a fun evening. It is always nice to do something different. My caring children make my life a little more pleasant.

Friday 21st of May
Another miracle happened for us today. We got our tax return. No hassle's! No saying you don't get it or that you are wrong on what you figured. We can actually catch up on our bills. Not our house payment or second mortgage, but the rest. We have truly been blessed today. I believe that miracles can happen, because I have certainly seen it in the last week. I am so grateful for all that has happened this week. I know that Phillips care blew up but it had over 2 hundred thousand miles on it. Neil owned it then sold it to Michael. Michael drove it forever than gave it to Phillip when he got off his mission, I know it is the only car that Phillip and Katrina own but something will work out for them too.
We went to the temple today. Once again Mother did another set of names from her family. So we did another name and got some more names for the next time we go. We had a wonderful time and felt the incredible peace we usually feel. This time I felt as though things were about to become much better in our lives. It was a good feeling. I am so grateful that I have the temple a part of my life.

Thursday May 20th
Another miracle happened today. Frank took Kimberly down to BYU, they got a written letter about Kimberly's grade. Then they went to the school and Kimberly came back with her cap and gown. It certainly is a great day. One that I can be so happy about. She is graduating. I am so happy. I have been sewing on her dress that I made for prom. I am bond and determined to fix it. Because I know it can be done. I am excited about this day. My last children graduating from High School and they made it. They will graduate next Friday. Way to go girls you made it and we are so happy for you!!!!!!!
Wednesday May 19th
Lisa left this morning at 5:30 A.M. Jennifer took her, we don't have a car. Phillip's engine blew up his car yesterday after all the replacing of uvu joints, and idler arms, battery and tires. Frank has been working on it for days. The car threw a rod. I am so sad all that work for nothing. Sometimes I wish Frank got paid for all of the stuff he fixes for people.
Tuesday May 18th
A miracle happened today!!!!!!!!!! Kimberly passed the class. She got a C- and that is good enough for me. I know that at this point they may not let her walk because they say they need the paper work, but I know Frank will find a way. He has done everything he can to see that everything has come through so far. It has been a miracle for sure. She came through the front door screaming. She didn't make it to school today because of the test but it will all be OK because she has been doing school! Ya for Kimberly.
Lisa leaves tomorrow with her dear little family. We will be happy when she moves a little closer. We have had a great time with her and her children. She has been able to have a dinner with her sister-in-law and also been able to see Tonya and her friend Ines. So it has been a rewarding fun time. She was able to be out here for Phillips wedding and has spent some time with my family. I hope she enjoyed herself. We had a lot of fun with her children. Monday May 17th
Kimberly and Karalee have studied constantly for the final test. They couldn't take the test tonight because the testing center closed early, so tomorrow morning bright and early they will take the test. I am so happy about all this, that it will be over. Tamara and Kimberly were taking the UVU math class and they were in it together for over a month, but when Kimberly tested out of it she didn't make it. I wondered how that could happen. Now I understand why she didn't. Tamara got a D in the class. If she had have gotten lower she wouldn't be graduating right now. But a miracle happened and she had to take a BYU study course. He has a chance to make this one, and I am so grateful for that chance. I am grateful that the Lord knew better than I did. With all this studying going on we neglected family home evening. I am sad about that, but I hope and pray that the Lord will see fit to bless Kimberly and Karalee tomorrow. Right now we need a miracle.
Sunday May 16th
Another great sunday and it is fun to have Lisa here. We only had a few for Sunday Dinner. Lisa, Karalee, Phillip and Katrina. It was wonderful. It is fun to have Madison be Madison. She is finally getting use to us, now she will leave. She still puts her head down when she sees Frank, but at least she doesn't cry. I held her all during Sacrament Meeting and most of Sunday School and she did really well. I think her sickness is finally gone and she can be herself.
Frank gave the lesson today in sunday school. He did a great job and it was Robert Lau's farewell in Sacrament Meeting. All in all it was a wonderful Sabbath Day. Now on to a new week, where more miracles can happen for us.

Saturday 15th of May
Kim and Karalee were going to take their test at BYU today, but found out the testing center was closed. Back to studying. They will have to take their final test on Monday. It just seems that right now this class is a nightmare. Just like the skirt I've been making.
I finally finished the skirt. It looks incredible. The tie made it look perfect because you can't see all the snags at the top. I fixed it by just sewing the tie right over the band. The tie is sewn opposite so that it folds over to look like it hasn't even been sewn on. It is beautiful. They came to pick it up while I had run over to Mom's for a minute. I am just glad that it is out of my home. Sometimes things just aren't worth the money. Now I know why my sister in law won't sew for money. It takes the enjoyment out of it. But I am grateful for the $60.00. We need all the little miracles that we can get.

Friday 14th of May
I have been working on the dress all day long again today. I added another 2 inches to the skirt and I took out a lot of the gathering to be able to do that. All I can say is I hope that it fits when I finally get done with it all. I love the pleats. It has been a mess though. Every time that I touch the skirt I run it somewhere. Every time I sew it seems to run on the machine. This material is a night mare. I think it looks stupid because they didn't buy an invisible zipper. I am just a little frustrated today because it would have been beautiful if it had of been another material. I will get it finished so I called Emily can pick it up. She asked me how much and I told her $75.00. I could tell it wasn't what she expected. A few minutes later her mother called me back and said they could get a professional to do it for $60.00. I said whatever you fell is right, that would be fine. I felt bad. I have redone this dress to tailor fit. If I could have finished it as a size 10 I wouldn't be so frustrated, because there wouldn't be as many snags in it. It is sometimes not so fun to sew for others.
Kimberly and Karalee continue to work on Math. Kimberly and Tamara finally finished all there art and got everything turned in by the due date. I am so glad that is over. It has consumed their lives that is for sure. I am not sure that they will ever do art again. They got their portfolio done and everything turned in on tuesday, they were given the extra time just as we had hoped. So Math is our only thing that seems to hold Kimberly back for now. Karalee and Kimberly went to take one the last tests today. The final will be on Monday evening. When they took the test I prayed that a miracle would happen, that Kimberly would have all she had studied for brought back to her memory. She took the test and as she was ready to stand up and leave, she suddenly remembered 2 of the problems that she wasn't sure about. She remembered how to do them. So she went back and fixed them. If she had not done that she would not have passed. Thanks for the gift of the Holy Ghost and prayers. We are so happy right now. One more final and the class will be done. They will study hard over the weekend and go to see a tutor again.

May 13th Thursday
Emily came to try on her skirt tonight. It was way to small. She came two hours later than was originally decided. She did call but not until she was way late. I guess her husband and her were getting their temple recommends. I will have to take the band off and start over. That will take me quite some time. I told her I would charge her $10.00 an hour if that was the case she would owe me about $200.00 by tomorrow. I can't believe all the work it has taken, but I guess that's the way it goes when you need money bad.
At least I got my house cleaned today because I wasn't working on a dress all day long. I am so glad that I accomplished that. It doesn't seem as though my house ever gets clean. Since Michelle has been here so much I just can't get orgainized.

Wednesday May 12th
I have been working on the skirt all day long again today. I have gotten the pleats all done and the band on. I was going to put the zipper in. I called Emily the girl that will wear the skirt to ask her what size she usually takes. She said about a 4 but she has made a pattern before and the patterns are usually a size ten. I hate sizes today they are totally wacked. So I made the 10, then she called me back and she wants to come try it on tomorrow. So I won't be able to work on it tomorrow and I am suppose to have it done. I can't finish it until she tries it on.
We have had some fun days with Lisa and her children. If it is warm outside they have a lot of fun. But if it is rainy and they can't go out they aren't really happy. We find Sierra out there even if it is cold. She loves to be outside.

Tueday May 11th
Kimberly and Karalee are constantly working on their Math. They know they have got to get it done. They have spent alot of time on it. I wish them the best of luck. Right now I am praying for a miracle. They continue to go to their tutor. They only have until next Monday.
I have been working on this skirt all day. It is for a lady who has 3 year old twin girls. It is a pleated skirt and has certainly taken a long time. for a while I couldn't get the pleats right. I know that my mother has done pleats on drapes all her life. So she helped and gave me some good advice. So I now think that I can finally accomplish this. It is a crazy skirt because once you get all the pleates in it then you gather it.

Monday May 10th
Kimberly was suppose to have her UVU class done today. She has worked so hard. They said she couldn't graduate unless it was done today. She is freaking out. They say they won't give her another chance. She has been so invoved in Neils campaign that she hasn't been able to continuely concentrate on Math. It certainly hasn't been benefical for her. So Frank went in to talke to her counselor. He siad nothing could be done she just won't graduate. Her on line course isn't complete. So Frank went to the principal and was given the same response. So he went to the admintration at Alpine School District. after much talk they finally gave her until Monday at the latest. We had family night this evening, but had it late. Frank was working on putting Karalee's new tires on.
Lisa moved over today with Madison and Sierra. Michelle is gone and she feels like Jennifer and Derrick have done enough. Little Madison is still sick and doesn't much like any of us. So Lisa has to constantly hold her. I makes life kind of miserable for her.

So I prayed hard and got busy. Even though they are both different sergers I figured I could keep using hers and watch to motion of both. I worked for a couple of hours and kept reajusting everything. I just couldn't seem to get it right. But a miracle happened. I know the Lord had his hand in on it, or I would never fixed it, but I did. I am so grateful for this miracle because I can finally get started on the skirt I have to have done by the end of the week.

I know the Lord had his hand in on it, or I would never fixed it, but I did. I am so grateful for this miracle because I can finally get started on the skirt I have to have done by the end of the week.
Sunday May 9th
It is Mother's day today. I have all my children around and it has been a good day. I didn't expect anything from anyone. We have had a very hectic week, but Jennifer and Derrick gave me a card and $40.00, which was very much appreciated. We all had a great dinner of roast and potatoes, salad and corn, before Neil and Michelle headed on there long journey home. We were privileged that Neil gave us $400.00 for helping him with his campaign. He also gave Kim and Tam $50.00. I was very much appreciated. Another miracle for the Cravens. I was surprised that they stayed for supper. It was wonderful. Nate left for the airport this morning so he was gone. But it was good to have him the short time that we did. He went to Colorado on Monday. Got back on Wednesday, then went fishing for the rest of the time. But he had some good interviews.
Kimberly and Tamara and I went to Brian Grovers farewell. He is Ester my cousins oldest son. He did a terrific job. He is a different kid, not like he was a couple of years ago. He is a stong young man and will make a fantastic missionary. I saw my cousins Becky and Debbie plus Aunt Ester. I gave her a hug and told her she had a fantastic grandson. I also saw Sister Pratt and Julia Kamp. It was funto go back to our old ward. Jennifer was 16 when we lived and that ward. It is amazing how time flies.
Our church meeting were wonderful. Because it is Mother's Day they had the Seniors speak, not all of them because there are to many for one day. Kimberly and Tamara spoke, they both did an amazing job and brought me to tears. It is wonderful to hear your children speak about a quality that you have taught them. Tamara talked about service and Kimberly talked about faith. They both did an extremely great job. I am happy to call them my daughter. Thank-you for all you do.
Frank closes his fast today. I know that the whole process has been hard on him. I hope that the Lord will take care of him, and truly answer his prayers.

May 8th Saturday
Neil should be very proud of himself today, because he was incredible. We were all up in SLC at 7:00 this morning. Neil, Michelle, Frank, Paul, Emily, Ann, Lisa, Tamara, and all the Walters, Mark, Val, Crystal and husband Mike, Michelle and husband, Angela, Matt and wife, Jon and wife, and a lot of volunteers. We passed out brochures until 10:30 when they started the meeting. We kept talking to delegates in between the voting for different candidates. For Governor "Herbert" stayed in. For Senator we lost "Bennett" Mike Lee and Tim Bridgewater are running a primary. Neil and Philpot spoke. Neil was powerful and amazing. I have never heard such an incredible speech among all the candidates that were there. He did an incredible job. He asked his cousins oldest son to get up and endorse him. He thinks a lot of Neil so he wrote a speech and presented it to his class. They were so impressed with it that they let him give it over the loud speaker. So Neil asked him to give a 30 second speech. It was amazing, then Neil spoke. I can't even begin to tell you how fabulous it was. It is on his website if you want to hear it. The delegates cast their vote. Neil was 42% Morgan was 56% Elison was 2%. Incredible for a young man to campaign for only 4 months and get a 42%, what a miracle, especially when Morgan has been working at it for 6 years. Well some of the delegates for the South left to get home not knowing there was to be another vote. So when the votes were recast Neil got a 39.91% and Morgan got a 60.13%. Neil lost by 1 and 1/2 votes. People felt sick, from his neck of the woods when they found out they left to soon. They just didn't know. Also Frank was one of the people who was asked to go in the ballot room to watch the counting. He asked for the ballots to be re-counted twice. He said everyone in there was so kind. And although they wanted to get home, they were all wonderful. Philpots person were wonderful too. He said a lot of spiritual things happened in that room and he knew it was the Lords desire that it turn out the way it did. Miracles happen, and this whole experience was one big miracle. Of all the people to be in the ballot room and see everything happen, I was glad Frank was there. He is still fasting and I am sure that is way so many spiritual things happened for him. Thank-you Frank.
Neils speech was given with such power and conviction. It was fantastic! Michelle helped and contributed so much. I am sure she was plenty proud of her husband and he was proud of her. They worked hard together. They were certainly amazing at what they did. A husbands wife can make or break a man. Michelle you are amazing!!!!!
"Neil in our eyes you won. We couldn't ask for a better son-in-law" I remember Lisa having an experience in High School with a foster daughter. They were both trying out to be in show and chamber choir. They were asked to sing a specific song. when Lisa got through with the song she knew she had not made it within her heart. But she also knew that the words of the song that she sung had great meaning to her, and that our foster daughter would not be able to feel that same way. I was so rewarded today, just being at the Salt Palace delegate meeting. So many good people. People that loved and respected Neil. As we were passing out brochures 2 gentlemen very nicely dressed, (in suits) walked by me. I reached out my hand and tried to hand them a brochure. They said, "No we don't need one of those" then walked away. Then they turned around and came back. One of the gentlemen said to me, we have talked extensively to both candidates. Neil talks about the issues extensively and explains his views and never skirts from them. Morgan doesn't talk anything about specific issues, he avoids them. And he is swayed by people and their views. I know which one I want in Congress. If Morgan changes his mind now, what will he do when he gets in Congress. At that moment, as they walked away tears filled my eyes. I knew Neil was a man of integrity and honor. I felt a little like Lisa, I knew if Neil didn't win it didn't matter any more. He is a man of the Lord and he would be proud to call him, "My son".
As we heard the final results I was so proud of Neil, we couldn't find him and suddenly I say him. He went right over to congratulate the party that won. Sometimes they were very rude and mean to us. But Neil would always be gracious. As I walked away I heard a gentleman say to his family, "They just lost a good man". I feel that same way, because Neil is who he is. But because of who he is he will have many more opportunities presented to him. More than he can count. Way To Go Neil!!!!!!!!!
Kimberly came up later with Michael. She wanted to be there for Neil, the Math was overwhelming her and she just couldn't do it any more. We were happy to have her. Lisa went home with Mike because he didn't feel well. Karalee has been working on Math all day with Kimberly, but offered to stay and tend Grace and Emma. But on the way out of the restaurant by the Salt Palace, we saw a homeless man sitting on a park bench. (We had taken some leftovers with us because Kim and Tam weren't really hungry so they cut their hamburgers in half.) The man asked if we had something to eat. I don't think anyone really heard him except me. When we got to the car, Frank asked what did he say. I said he wanted something to eat. So we put a bunch of food in one of the carry out containers that had been given to us and Frank took the food back. The homeless guy took it and said, Is this for me. Frank said, yes. He said, well I'm going to eat it. Frank said, go ahead. He repeated the same thing several times. And Frank answered the same thing. Then he started to eat it. As we pulled away we saw him sharing with others. It is a miracle to me how service works. The Walters bought us dinner, we shared it with a homeless man. He shared it with someone else. Miracles happen!!!!!!! I am so grateful for this day.

Friday May 7th
We have been up at the Salt Palace all day with Neil and Michelle. The girls stayed home to take care of Michelle's children. Kimberly isn't going to get a lot of Math done today. But the whole Salt Palace needs to be set up today for tomorrow and the big delegate meeting. So we have been running all day long doing signs. It has been crazy there are so many people trying to find a spot for their candiates signs. We all ran the minute the whistles were blown. But with just Frank, Randy, Michelle and I it is hard to get any signs anywhere, especially when some candiates have 50 or more people running signs around. The Salt Palace is hugh and there are many halls and walk ways and entrances so we have worked hard. But we got some pretty fantastic places and I think that we have a good presence in the most important places.
Neil has been working on his speech pretty much most of the morning and evening. In the middle he was at the Salt Palace setting up his booth. He is in an incredible spot. Right across the table from where the delegates check in. That will make it perfect for us to hand about brochures. All the Walter family and our family will be up here tomorrow to help. It is incredible to be able to help and watch all this happen. But I am exhausted, we have worked hard all day long. I feel bad because right now Frank needs answers for his future. He is trying to find out those answers and in doing so is fasting. He has fasted for 3 days now and says he will continue until her receives an answer. I am exhausted and worn out I can't even imagine how he is doing. I just hope things come together for his as well as everyone else. It is all in the Lord's hands.

May 6th Thursday
It is a crazy day again. Kimberly is freaking out because she has to have her Math done by Monday. With all that is going on it makes it really hard. Her and Karalee are studying non stop and have used a tutor that Matt, Karalee's friend set them up with. They have so much to do. They have to finish up 20 lessons do another test and a final. They are working so hard and yet have so many interruptions. At this point all Kimberly wants to do is pass the test so that she can graduate. It is a hard class to complete with in 2 months. I feel bad for her because I know if she had more time, it would be a lot easier for her.
Tamara passed her UVU class to be able to graduate. She got a D in the class but it will count only towards her graduation, not for a UVU class. I feel so bad because she worked so hard on it. She didn't deserve what she got, she has just had so many interruptions. I feel bad for my girls. But she will be gratiful just to graduate.

May 5th Wednesday
Another day of Michelle and Neil running to meeting. So another day of tending and cleaning. I think that Kimberly and Tamara are getting worn out. Kimberly came crying to me today. Tyler filled her little decorative bottle full of water. I was a bottle given to her by her young women leaders. She wrote her testimony in it and sealed it with a little cork. It has been sitting on her dresser for months. It is very important to her because she will break it open in a few years to see what she wrote. I think everyone is getting on each others nerves. It isn't easy right now for the girls because they are trying to get math classes done, and AP art done. It has been very difficult for them when they are always helping clean and tend children. I feel bad for them, and want to cry with them. I just hope everything turns out the way that the Lord would want. Right now they have to passes their classes to graduate. I don't think any ones life is easy. All we can do as every one's parents is keep praying for them, and be positive that things will work out.
Because Frank has been fasting we went to the temple tonight, then went on to our interview with the BYU stake presidency. I was very impressed with the Stake President and his counselors. May 4th Tuesday
Neil and Michelle are at meetings again today. We have been tending their children all day. Sierra came over to play with everyone. It is pretty crazy around here when the cousins get together.
I got a call from the Lady that called me at the begining of April, to make her daughter a skirt for a wedding they have coming up. I told her that I was to busy and she needed to call me at the first of May, she did that. She will be over tomorrow to bring me the pattern and the material. I need to have it done in a couple of weeks because they are headed to California for the wedding. Because we are a bit crazy around here, I can't keep my house clean to save me. It seems as though I never get out of the kitchen any more. I am either making a meal or cleaning the kitchen. I have a lot of people to take care of and keep feed. So I just pray I can be a little more organized tomorrow when the people show up.

Monday the 3rd of May
It is an exciting month many birthdays this month. Neil and Michelle will be up here this evening. Even though their stay was short they have to be back up here for more political meetings. They will hit one on the way up in Cedar city. The delegates will all be voting this week, so we will all have a great weekend.
Lisa planned a fun family home evening. Everyone was here to enjoy it. She had come up with a lot of fun games to play; such as stacking 3 golf balls on top of each other. Blowing a stack of cards off of a vase leaving only one, putting a oreo cookie on your forehead and bringing it to your mouth with your face movements and your tongue, no hands. It was a lot of fun a way to make a total fool of yourself but we all enjoyed ourselves. We had a song, and thought before hand. Then we had a prayer and refreshments at the end. Thanks to everyone that participated. It was a fun evening for all that attended.

Sunday May 2nd
It is fast Sunday so a great day. I love to hear people bare their testimonies. Neil and Michelle left today and will be back tomorrow. It seems a little crazy to me but Neil has church responsibilies. And I think they just want to get home, even if it only is for one day. It is nice to be able to attend our church meeting. I am grateful for them. They are certainly a blessing in my life. We enjoyed a nice dinner. Nate, Lisa and their children came over to enjoy our meal. Nate will be leaving to Colorado tomorrow, he has a couple of interviews there. We are excited for him. He will graduating dental school next week and will be able to final get going on his carrer. I am happy for both him and Lisa. Lisa really wanted to go with him and leave her children, but unfortunately that didn't work out.
Saturday May 1st
We are all exhausted. It has been a crazy week. I am sure that the next few weeks will be just as crazy. Neil and Michelle will be here all this next week, but it will be a lot more enjoyable. We can concentrate on Neil rather than all the other stuff because it is over. The wedding day was wonderful. Once again a lot of miracles took place. I can't even began to express my thanks. We couldn't have been more blessed. For the food Frank made brownies, and we bought cheese cake at Costco. Then another miracle happened that I forgot to mention. I hadn't picked up the plates, cups and the napkins for the reception and it was Thursday. Mom called me and asked if there was anything that she could do to help. I told her I needed a few things, but the only place I could get them was Sam's Club, I had already checked Costco. She said I will call Alma. She did and Alma happened to be right in front of Sam's Club. He went straight there and called me on the phone. He said Elizabeth I will buy you some mints, nuts, little cups and the other stuff that you need. The reason I will do this is because someone did it for me for my reception. A wonderful miracle again. I couldn't have asked for more. He picked up all the stuff and paid for it, we used it all. We forgot to buy plastic silverware, Jennifer and Derrick picked that up plus 2 extra cheese cakes. It was truly a miracle because we weren't prepared but the Lord was and he sent us a few more angels. Thank-you for those angels. We couldn't have asked for half of what we received. We certainly had watchful eyes upon us. Thank-you
Friday 30th of April
What a fantastic day. Frank and I were up bright and early this morning to attend Emily's graduation. It started at 8 this morning. It was wonderful. It was fun to be there and see Emily accomplish something that hasn't been easy at all for her. But she stuck to it even when it seemed as though she would never make it. We love her and are very proud of her. She just kept going and working hard. Congratulations Emily!!!!!! Your music degree is finally here.
Of course after all that we ran home and got everything ready to be at the temple at 10:30. We made it there. It was wonderful to see all of my children and there spouses at the temple, except my two girls that are too young. That shows me how wonderful my children are, because they are worthy to attend the temple and partake of such a wonderful sacred day. Thanks to all my children and their spouses that made this day so special. Katina and Phillip had a wonderful day and I am so proud of them and the choices that they have made in their lives to partake of such a wonderful experience. A very important day, one I hope everyone remembers, but especially Phillip and Katrina. We had so many wonderful people at the temple with us. Not only family, but Phillip's and Katina's mission president and wife flew in just to be at their wedding. What special people. Thank-you to all that came, we appreciate you.
Chrissy and Michelle took pictures. It was so special of them because it was a very cold day. So it took a lot for them to be out in the cold. Chrissy did a wonderful DVD for them. Her Mike and Michelle spent a lot of time getting them to do just the right thing to make it fun. It was wonderful, and thanks to Karalee for editing it. I have some very talented children who make this whole marriage experience a joy. Thank-you Chrissy you are amazing, we are so grateful for your thoughtfulness in doing such a great thing. And Thank-you Michelle for doing such great pictures. It was so cold we couldn't get all the pictures we wanted but we did get pictures and that is what counts. Thanks once again to Sue for the cute grand kids dresses.
Michelle came home and checked out all the pictures. Then she touched them up with photo shop. They were incredible. She quickly sent them to Costco, got them and framed them. They were perfect for all the tables.
Frank and I went to get the tables, and table cloths. I had arranged for them on Monday. So we got them all and set them up in Mom's house. Then we finished all the table cloth centers at Mom's so we could use her serger. Then I brought over all the decorations and we set them up. As soon as Michelle got all the pictures done she brought them over. Everything looked amazing, the cake table, the present table, the signing table and the tables for the guests. If I had to picture all of this and the way it turned out, I could not have asked for better. Everyone was so wonderful and helped in so many ways to have everything so perfect.
In the middle of all of this Kimberly came over in tears. She said she wasn't graduating. She was suppose to have her AP art final in today by 3:00 and it was already after 5:00, or so much for her hard work. My mother said, "Kimberly don't worry everything will be fine. I know that your father won't let that happen." So we all went home. Frank grabed Kimberly and ran to the school hoping they would find someone there to help them. They ran through the school checking every class room and office. The whole time Frank is praying that a miracle will happen. Well after running and searching everywhere they gave up and headed for the front door. They got ready to get in the car and suddenly noticed the Principal sitting in her car, she was waiting for a person who was suppose to be there to pick her up for supper. The person just hadn't shown up. Well we knew why she hadn't shown up. Heavenly Father was causing this all to happen. The Principal said not to worry about it everything would be find. She could take care of it all on Monday. Another great miracle for the day!!!!!
My sister in law Diana did all the flowers for everyone and the bouquet. They were all beautiful. The flowers were a bright pink and Kimberly painted them with some white paint. They were perfect. Thanks to Diana for doing all that work they were certainly professional and Kimberly for making them the way Katrina wanted them.
The reception was incredible. A lot of people came for the Hansen's that were there friends and had moved out here from California. A lot of people came from the wards, plus my cousins. It was so good to see all of them. I couldn't asked for a more wonderful day. Everything was absolutely perfect. Jean came to help with refreshments again, she is an angel. She just walked in my house got what she needed and got started at Mom's with what needed to be done. With her around I never have to worry about anything, she is wonderful.
Well the newlyweds are married and everything turned out perfect. The Hansen's were wonderful and the day was wonderful. The Lord took care of me in every way and I couldn't ask for more. We are so completely appreciative to everyone. Thank-you so much for your help. Jennifer, Derrick and Lisa helped to clean everything at Mom's, then they came to my house and we all chipped in. I just can't express my thinks enough. We even have a clean house. Family you are wonderful. My experience couldn't have been more perfect. You are all angels sent from heaven.
One last thing that made the last two days was my Mother giving up her home for us. I know with all the noise and mess it wasn't easy for her or Dad, but they were gracious enough to let us invade their privacy for a couple of days. Thank-you so much for your kindness. We appreciate you so much, and appreciate the many many hours of hard work you put in your home for this special occasion. Another miracle in our life.
Of course after all that we ran home and got everything ready to be at the temple at 10:30. We made it there. It was wonderful to see all of my children and there spouses at the temple, except my two girls that are too young. That shows me how wonderful my children are, because they are worthy to attend the temple and partake of such a wonderful sacred day. Thanks to all my children and their spouses that made this day so special. Katina and Phillip had a wonderful day and I am so proud of them and the choices that they have made in their lives to partake of such a wonderful experience. A very important day, one I hope everyone remembers, but especially Phillip and Katrina. We had so many wonderful people at the temple with us. Not only family, but Phillip's and Katina's mission president and wife flew in just to be at their wedding. What special people. Thank-you to all that came, we appreciate you.
Chrissy and Michelle took pictures. It was so special of them because it was a very cold day. So it took a lot for them to be out in the cold. Chrissy did a wonderful DVD for them. Her Mike and Michelle spent a lot of time getting them to do just the right thing to make it fun. It was wonderful, and thanks to Karalee for editing it. I have some very talented children who make this whole marriage experience a joy. Thank-you Chrissy you are amazing, we are so grateful for your thoughtfulness in doing such a great thing. And Thank-you Michelle for doing such great pictures. It was so cold we couldn't get all the pictures we wanted but we did get pictures and that is what counts. Thanks once again to Sue for the cute grand kids dresses.
Michelle came home and checked out all the pictures. Then she touched them up with photo shop. They were incredible. She quickly sent them to Costco, got them and framed them. They were perfect for all the tables.
Frank and I went to get the tables, and table cloths. I had arranged for them on Monday. So we got them all and set them up in Mom's house. Then we finished all the table cloth centers at Mom's so we could use her serger. Then I brought over all the decorations and we set them up. As soon as Michelle got all the pictures done she brought them over. Everything looked amazing, the cake table, the present table, the signing table and the tables for the guests. If I had to picture all of this and the way it turned out, I could not have asked for better. Everyone was so wonderful and helped in so many ways to have everything so perfect.
In the middle of all of this Kimberly came over in tears. She said she wasn't graduating. She was suppose to have her AP art final in today by 3:00 and it was already after 5:00, or so much for her hard work. My mother said, "Kimberly don't worry everything will be fine. I know that your father won't let that happen." So we all went home. Frank grabed Kimberly and ran to the school hoping they would find someone there to help them. They ran through the school checking every class room and office. The whole time Frank is praying that a miracle will happen. Well after running and searching everywhere they gave up and headed for the front door. They got ready to get in the car and suddenly noticed the Principal sitting in her car, she was waiting for a person who was suppose to be there to pick her up for supper. The person just hadn't shown up. Well we knew why she hadn't shown up. Heavenly Father was causing this all to happen. The Principal said not to worry about it everything would be find. She could take care of it all on Monday. Another great miracle for the day!!!!!

Thursday April 29th
It has certainly been a great but rewarding day today. I have worked all day long preparing the meal for this evening. My mother offered to let us have the wedding dinner at her home. Phillip and Katrina requested that only her family and our family plus grand parents are invited. So we did just that. I made a Mexican dinner. I guess I expected more help form my children than what I got, but they were all crazy busy with other things. Michelle was really the only one to help me and it is a little hard with 3 children. Frank took care of the shredded pork for me which was a big part of it. I seasoned it all and then he shredded most of it when it was about done. I helped a little. But I was making lemon rice, cooking black beans, making tortilla shells, making the guacamole and the cilantro dressing. I also got the tomato's chopped and got the cheese ready. Michelle made the salsa. We also got some sour cream. I know that it doesn't sound like it could have taken me all day but it did. I made two patches of tortilla shell's which is over 100 shells. It was amazing to me that all the shells were eatten except about 10. Everyone in attendance enjoyed themselves greatly. We all had a great time talking about Katrina and Phillip, especially their parents. We got to meet all of Katrina's family and her grandparents. The Hansen's got to meet all the Craven family and both sets of grand parents. It was a great evening. Everyone will remember the great time that we had. Katrina's family are wonderful people and we felt honored to be with them for a night. We will certainly be happy to have Katina a part of our lives. Thank-you to all that helped and participated in a great evening. It was certainly a miracle having it all come together so well as it did.
Tamara, Kimberly and Michelle made the wedding cake tonight. I didn't think Tamara could do it, but she did. It is beautiful and I am so happy for there hours of work. They are amazing. If you put my children together they can accomplish anything. I think Phillip and Katrina will absolutely love it. I am just so impressed. Great Job Girls!!!!!!!!!

Wednesday April 28th
Lisa, Sierra and Madison flew in today. It was so good to see them. I am so happy that they are safe. We were late picking them up by an hour, but that is only because we were in different places and obviously missed each other. Nate will fly in tomorrow. It is such a miracle that he will be able to come. We haven't had Nate at a wedding. But this time he is almost graduated from dental school and has two job offers in Colorado. So he had to fly out to interview. We are so excited to see him, and so glad that he will make it to the wedding. It is a real treat. Lisa will be staying at Jennifer's because right now we have a full house.
Michelle and I stayed up until 3 in the morning finishing the dresses. I am so grateful for Michelle. She is busy with her husband and politics. Busy with 4 children and is up early every morning. Sometimes doesn't get a whole lot of sleep and yet is willing to stay up half of the night to help me. I really didn't think it would take us that long but it did. Michelle has definitely been my miracle through all of this.
I should explain why Michelle and I stayed up so late. It was Emily's Senior Recital tonight. We went to that. It was held in Provo. Everyone was there. I was a little disappointed because her voice teacher kept asking the Mothers of the children to find another place to take there children because it was to noisy for Emily and she didn't want her disturbed. Emily would have been a little angry, because Emily is use to a lot of children when she sings. Two of her siblings came a long ways to hear her. At any rate because of that they missed a lot of it. Emily was quite frustrated when she found out. But she did a beautiful job and we are very proud of her. We ate refreshments after the recital and Emily expressed her frustration to her teacher. Her teacher apologized. Way to go Emily. We couldn't be happier for you and are proud for your accomplishments.

Tuesday April 27th.
I've gotten the tops completely done on the 4 girls dresses. I have to have them completely done by tomorrow. The dinner I will be cooking all day Thursday and the Friday is the wedding, so I am down to the last few days. Michelle has pretty well gotten everything done and planned for the wedding. One bad thing is that my serger broke tonight. Frank has tried so hard to readjust things and get it working but it hasn't helped. These dresses will take me a lot longer without my serger. I will just have to continue without the serger, of course the inside won't look nearly as good, but I am in a hurry at this point. And just a little crazy busy right now.
Emily has been over here all day today concerned about her dress that has to be done by tomorrow for her Senior Recital. We are so happy to have this over for her. At any rate I spent pretty much all day on it. But it is done and looks beautiful on her. It is crazy to have so many things going all at once. But all the family are here and it will certainly be an exciting evening for Emily. We are so happy that her graduation is almost over. Miracles continue to happen in this family.

April 26th Monday
We had a great turn out for cleaning the church tonight. As a matter of fact we had to many people. I had to send some home because there was no work for them to do. I am so grateful for good people that are willing to help. They just need a little reminder.
Sue came and we brought the dresses to the church for the grand kids. She will have them done in no time if I know her. I thought that I wouldn't need her help and that I could do it myself, but I realize that is impossible. It is for sure that the Lord sent me her for a reason. And I am certainly grateful for her. She is a blessing to me and I don't have to worry about the dresses any more. At least those dresses. She is certainly an answer to my pray and she will never realize what a blessing she is in my life right now.

Sunday April 25th
Neil and Brandon left early this morning for St. George. We are hopeful that they make it back safe. We hope all goes well for them with there meetings all this week. The sad thing is that Neil's Dad had another heartattack and didn't want Neil to know. He is worried that he would not concentrate on the delegate meetings and be more concerned about him. So he will find out from his mother probably today. I am sure that it will cause Neil some great concern. It is hard for his father to not have him to help run the business. Neil will certainly want to go back. I am sure that the Lord will take care of his Dad and he doesn't need to worry.
We had a great Sunday today. Michelle and her children bring about entertainment to all. We are happy to have them here. We had a great Sunday with family and wonderful meetings.

April 24th Saturday
Neil and Michelle have been here all week, doing campaigning and many meeting. Next week I will have Michelle and the children because Neil has so much to do, so he is leaving for St. George tomorrow morning. Plus I need Michelle, she is an amazing women and has already helped so much. I just don't think I can do this without her. She just has a gift for putting everything together. Besides Michelle wants to be here for the wedding dinner and Neil just can't make it.
We have all next week to get the flowers and arrangements done for the signing table and the wedding refreshment tables. We got a vase and marbles to put in the vase for the arrangement on the signing table. The 6 other vases will only have 2 lilies in them and wrapped with ribbon. I am thrilled with the way everything is coming together.
We worked hard on the campaign today. We were up early to put up signs and get down to a county meeting at 7:30 in the morning to pass out brochures. There is another county delegate meeting in SLC as well as one in Utah county. The the problem is that Neil has to speak at both so we are trying to help him out by being down here at Mountain View until the speech happens, then we will run to SLC. It has been crazy because the delegate vote for county seat are today as well so there are a lot of people running around. Neil finally had his turn to speak and the auditorium was extremely noisy because the delegates were still coming in to be seated. It was a mess with the way that it was done. But I can say one thing and that is that Neil calmed the audience for Morgan Philpot. After the speech we ran to SLC. We got there in plenty of time. We passed out more brochures and Neil gave a great speech...... Go Neil!

April 23rd Friday
Michell went out first thing this morning and took pictures for Katrina. The wedding dress fit like a glove and it was beautiful. It was raining, but Michelle did a beautiful job. Chrissy went as well and took some beautiful pictures. They took pictures of Katrina and Phillip. The rain made them beautiful. I know everyone froze to death but I am grateful for all that helped in this miracle of getting some great pictures.
I've been working on the 4 dresses for Katrina's wedding. I almost have the tops done. I am making some fancy T-shirts and attaching some material to them. I want to make them fancy, this is a wedding.
We went to another convention with Neil tonight. We passed out brochures and we had a great dinner. It was great to get away and do something, rather than dresses.

April 22nd Thursday
We found out today that Katrina didn't have a wedding dress. Sometimes it is hard to deal with a son that doesn't tell you what is going on. We found out that Katina was sent a wedding dress from California that was her sisters dress. But it is to big and it is too long. But it was taken to a dry cleaning place to be dry cleaned. Lisa called and said that we needed to just go buy one. That set the ball in motion. Frank got on the Internet and started to search on KSL.com and Craig's list. After searching for a while we decided on one that we thought looked beautiful. The was clean and perfect. The lady had kept it very nice. We were so excited and we thought the dress was close to Katrina's size. So Michelle got on the phone and called the lady. Michelle talked her down to %150.00, it was 200. So we scheduled a time to meet with her. I knew that the dress would fit my twins, so I figured it would fit Katrina. After a bunch of texts and phone calls we finally got a hold of Katrina and found out where she had taken the wedding dress to be cleaned, and also gave her a time to meet with the lady about the dress on the internet. We ran to the dry cleaners and a miracle happened, they hadn't started to clean it yet. After picking the dress up from the dry cleaners we had to make a few stops. We had to return the little metal cans and flowers, everyone thought they were ugly. Then we had to pick up some more flowers to go in vases, and some ribbon to go around the vases. Well once again in our search for these things we found some other beautiful things, and miracles continued to happen. We went to Roberts and found some perfect 2" pale ribbon. It was the only ribbon they had on sale. It was 25 yards and they had it on sale for half price. It was $4.50 for the whole roll. We were truly blessed in going there. Next we went to Walmart and returned the unwanted flowers, then we found the perfect ones and we found some beautiful satin little peachy pink material to go on the tables. It is as though we were guided everywhere we went today. The Lord certainly had his hand in all that we did. I am so grateful. This wedding is going to come together. Thank-you to Lisa and especially Michelle, she has saved me once again. She did with Emily's wedding.
Michelle went and picked up Katrina from work, then went to try the wedding dress on at our internet ladies. It fit like a glove Michelle said. Katrina seemed to love it so Lisa, Michelle and I all pitched in $50.00 and we bought the dress. Katrina came to try it on for me and Phillip. I wish Phillip was a little more enthusiastic about it. He just said Katrina what do you think. They decided it needed to be taken up on the shoulders and a bunch of the beads needed to be taken off. So Michelle with good intentions started to take beads off. But the beads on the embroidered flowers were not suppose to be removed. There were so many beads on the dress that it took Michelle 2 hours to remove them all. Then the dress was handed to me, unfortunately when you remove one bead a bunch more fall off. So I spent from 7 PM to 5 AM repairing the dress. It was a long night. But I knew it had to be done, because Michelle had arranged to take Katrina's pictures the next morning bright and early. By the time I got done the dress was beautiful and I am sure will fit Katrina like a glove.
One other thing that was a total miracle and a tender mercy for the Lord tonight was a special phone call I got from a dear member of our ward. Her name is Sue. She called me close to 10:00 and said, I felt like I should call you. I have the feeling that you need some help. I am willing to sew anything that you need me too. I almost started to cry here was the answer sent from above to take away some of my stress. We talked for a while and she consented to making all the grand kids there little pink summer dresses. April 21st Wednesday
It has been a great day. Michelle and I went to Walmart to pick up some flowers and material for Phillips and Katrina's wedding. We found just the perfect flowers to make a cute sighing table bouquet. then we found other flowers in a little metal pot for each table. We also found some beige material. we have been running most of the day. But we were extremely blessed in what we did. Neil and Michelle are headed to another meeting tonight. So we will be tending our cute little grand children again tonight.
April 20th Tuesday
Tonight Phillip got home around 11:00 P.M. and asked me if anybody cared whether he was getting married or not. I was a little taken back by that because he hasn't much seemed to care about being home at all. So how would he happen to know how much we care. He works, goes to school and sees Katrina. He never seems to care about his family at all. I have a lot to accomplish in a week and sometimes I feel as though Neil and Michelle really need us badly right now. The campaign trail is not an easy one.
Frank got a call from a BYU Stake President yesterday to be interviewed for a new calling in a bishopric at BYU. We were a little taken back, right now our lives our crazy. Campaigning, getting money for Neil's campaign, wedding coming up, twins graduation and Emily's graduation. This just seems like a little more stress on our lives. April 19th Monday
Such a crazy day. I worked all day long to get my house cleaned. Katrina's family will be here in no time. I would like my house to be presentable. So I have been crazy cleaning out the kitchen, cupboards, microwave, oven, toaster oven. You name it I have done it. Neil and Michelle are suppose to be here at 5:30 for us to tend their children. Off to more conventions. Their life right now is crazy.
It was our job to clean the church again tonight. I took Grace, Emma, and Tyler with me so I could get some help. No one showed up except the Smarts. Apparently my helpers are out of town. I have tried to call them several times, but have not been able to reach them and I don't know who signed up to help this evening. So I spent some time on the phone, but everyone I got a hold of wasn't there. So another crazy nightt. I did call family to come and help. Naje and Colleen showed up which I was grateful for any help I could get. My husband and twins are always there, and I think them so much for that. In no time I won't have the twins to help. We had a little bathroom accident with Emma so that took care of the grandkids helping. So we called Emily to come and get them. She did which was a super big help. We finished the building and were soon on our way home.
