Saturday May 29th

We had a great garage sale today, because we got rid of what we needed to in the garage. It was a lot of fun watching some of the people. One of the last guys was Mexican. We gave him the big beautiful heavy desk of Mikes, the dishwasher, stove, built in microwave, new bathroom sink and the heavy beautiful round kitchen table for $60.00. He received a lot of stuff, but I didn't feel bad because I know that he will use it or give it to someone who will use it. It made me happy. We also sold a two seat stroller to a lady for $2.00 and she almost started to cry. It was marked at $10.00. She said I have two little children and I have wanted one of these for a long time. We were thrilled that she got it. These people made the garage sale worth while. I love it when people really appreciate what you do for them. Neil made pretty much all the sales, and giving stuff away. It was fun to watch. He sold his grandmothers sewing machine for $10.00 and the lady that bought it was so thrilled. She was a little Mexican lady. It was fun to watch her get it. A great day.

Kimberly and Tamara have gone to a barbecue with some school friends tonight. I hope they enjoy themselves. We are happy that they get to have some fun. My graduates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

May 28th Friday

It has been a crazy day but so rewarding. Kim and Tam graduated. Everyone of my children that could make it were there. It was so fun to see Tamara and Kimberly walk through the "O". They walked through one after the other. We enjoyed watching everyone that we knew walk through as well. Neil and Michelle got there late, but they made it. They made Kimberly and Tamara each a candy necklace. There favorite candy for sure. We took a while to find Tamara and Kimberly after the commencement exercises. It was in the Marriot Center and they had about 500 in their graduating class, so it took a long while. But finding them afterwards was a real chore. When we finally did, the pictures started. Some of their friends came up and wanted pictures as well, then suddenly we spotted Elder Holland. He was there watching one of his granddaughters graduate. It was so fun to see him, but more fun when Kimberly and Tamara got a picture with him. Michelle walked up to him and said, Elder Holland can I shake your hand, you are one of my favorite people. His response was you are one of my favorite people as well. It was fun to watch how excited each of my children got when they saw him. Jennifer asked him if they could have a picture with him and the twins. She took the picture and Michelle took one as well. But the most interesting part is that Jennifer was shaking like a leaf. I have never seen anyone shake so bad except me. They asked me to tell about the twins in Relief Society at the first of the month. Because they will soon go to Relief Society so I has to introduce them to everyone. Well I got up to speak and had each one of the girls at my side. They had to hold me because I was shaking so bad. I know how Jennifer felt. But it was a very rewarding experience to see the whole experience with Elder Holland happen, because he is such a wonderful person.

After the graduation Frank and I took Kimberly and Tamara out to eat, as we have done all of our children on their graduation day. We took Kimberly and Tamara to Chili's and had some incredible food. I very much enjoyed it. Then we returned home to the rest of the family. We watched a movie called "Leap Year". It was very enjoyable and an enjoyable day. But the most rewarding thing of all was just seeing the twins with Elder Holland. Elder Holland is one of my most favorite people at conference time. He inspires me so much. I am so grateful for his life and his words. He is amazing. The best thing of all is that being able to shake Elder Hollands hand was one of the things on Kimberly's bucket list, and she accomplished it on her graduation day. It was wonderful to see. The miracle that happened today was all day long. A true miracle.

May 27th Thursday

We spent the morning at Orem High. We helped move a lot of things from the old school to the new one. It was a lot of walking and a lot of work. I thought we would be able to stay there more than our 2 hours, but we were exhausted by the time our time was done. We did enjoy being together as a family and seeing the new school. But the days of our children being in school are over. We have moved on to a new time in our life. We have greatly enjoyed the years, and yet at times have not been easy. We are just grateful that all our children graduated from High School. It is hard to believe that the time has passed. We have cried, cheered, felt pain and happiness through the years of our children in school. But all in all we are very happy that we are at this point in our life. Great going children for all your accomplishments!

Neil and Michelle didn't make it up tonight. They will be here for the graduation which starts tomorrow at 12:30. That means getting up early in the morning for them. We will see them when they get here.

May 26th Wednesday

I have been trying to get my house clean today. Tamara is at home because she doesn't have any school today but Kimberly does. It is rather interesting but that is the way that it is. Kimberly called me at 9:15 and asked me to come an get her. I did and she has bad stomach cramps. So she wasn't able to make it to her study hall class. Today is the last day of school. Tomorrow they will be moving from one school to the other Orem High School. It is the end of the old Orem High. It will be knocked down within the week. I think it is kind of funny because I graduated from there and so did all my children and brothers and sisters. I am very grateful that I got to be a part of all of this and my children got to experience what I did. We will be excited to see the old go down and the new be done. If it wasn't earthquake safe I am glad my children are not there anymore.

I am grateful that I got my house cleaned today, because Michelle and Neil are supposed to be up here tomorrow. We are suppose to have a garage sale on Saturday for all Neil's campaign donations. We will be happy to get our garage cleaned out. That will be a miracle!

Tuesday May 25th

I have been trying to clean my house. I have accomplished cleaning out the room where the girls use to sleep and making it a room for my other children who come to visit. The room Phillip use to sleep in I have make the sewing room. I am pretty excited because everything worked out perfect and I accomplished a lot. It is crazy how long it takes and how much I get worn out. I will worry about the rest of the house tomorrow. I just feel happy that those two rooms are looking so good. Frank got all the bills caught up today, except of course our house bill and second mortgage. It is going to take alot more time to catch up those. I am grateful for the miracle of accomplishing what we have.

Monday 24th of May

It has been a pretty crazy evening once again. Kimberly and Tamara have had a major art project once again. We thought they were through, but another one. Tamara chose to paint her and Kimberly. She did an incredible job. Kimberly chose to draw and charcoal each family member just like the beginning of the show the Brady bunch. So she has done a lot of work. She did a beautiful job on each sibling. I can't believe how good my daughters are. They are amazing. I hope that they continue to draw and done lose the talent. It would be a sad day to see them quit. They have worked so hard this year and have improved so much. They also have some exams tomorrow to study for and they had some today. On Friday they went to another art museum to check things out and write a report on it. It is crazy what AP art has required of them. But they have had to learn to discipline themselves, which will make them better people. Well Friday is graduation, so these days are over for awhile.

Sunday May 23rd

It has been a wonderful Sabbath Day because we got to hear from the last of the Seniors speak, and it was another farewell for a young man in our ward. He is a relative of the Levi family and his name is Jacob. He is going to Hawaii on his mission. He already speaks the language because he has lived there before. He is Polynesian. He will be an incredible missionary. The rest of our Sunday meetings were incredible as well.

It was Tam and Kim's seminary graduation tonight. They have spent 4 years in Seminary and haven't gotten any credit for any hours they have spent there. I am so proud of them. They have loved everyone of their seminary teachers. They have inspired them so much. Many of our family home evenings have been centered around their seminary lessons. They are wonderful girls and it is good to know that each of my children have accomplished graduating from Seminary. We are so happy that they have. It is a miracle in our life that they have been blessed by such wonderful people, who have been such wonderful teachers.
