Such amazing things have happened in the last few months. My children decided to re-do my kitchen. They talked about it for a long time ago, but we didn't feel the time was right. My husband knew that if they redid the kitchen he would need to help a lot and he wasn't quite ready to do that. But there came a time when they would not take no for any answer. The madness began. Michelle came up from St. George and her an Jennifer went to town. Pretty soon everyone was involved, Frank, me, Kimberly, Tamara, Karalee, Jennifer and Michelle. Now you and I both know that it takes the chiefs and a bunch of Indians to complete any task, and that is exactly what happened. Jennifer and Michelle were the chiefs and I am sure did plenty of the work, but the rest of us tried to help when we could. Derrick helped greatly as well. We appreciated everyone's hard work. Many hours, many sleepless nights, much sneezing, much sanding, filling and painting. After hard work for 2 months my kitchen looks beautiful. Even the counter tops were redone with beautiful quartz counter tops. Thank-you to all my children and their spouses who are very generous I have a beautiful kitchen. I can't even thank every one enough. My husband re did all the electrical fixtures, he changed the texture on the ceiling to smooth and he changed all the texture on the walls. He did a tile surround underneath the cabinets. I can't even explain what a beautiful kitchen. I lived out of boxes for a few months, it is so nice to have it back together. I have a little left to do, and a little touch up paint, but its gorgeous. Thank you once again to my very special family. I love them greatly.

Time seems to fly. I am already into another year. So much has happened. I would like to talk about miracles first, I know that each of us have them happen every day, we just don't recognize them as often as we should. I was cleaning my house today because I have a day off. I started to clean when I realized one of the little pawn were missing out of the chess set we had gotten from Dad Craven I know this is a small insignificant thing, but it is important to me. So I knelt down to pray. I prayed that I would find that little pawn. and I did. I was upstairs cleaning the room that is our guest bedroom with two beds. I decided to go through the toy bins that my grand-kids play in. A little off my normal path because I had so much to do. It amazes me that our Father-in-Heaven answers even the smallest requests

Today I worked all day accomplishing a lot. Cleaning all the windows, filling all the grains, vacuuming to make the place look nice. By the time I got home I was exhausted. I've been busy and that is what I like. For that reason it was a good day. I love my family and because I do I leave them in my Father in Heavens hands. I understand The Lord has his hands in our lives, I know he will do better with those lives then I can. It is like the saying says, you can call, persuade, direct aright bless with wisdom, love and light, in nameless ways be good and kind but never force the human mind. That's what I have done. It doesn't matter how much you teach your children, when they make their minds up you cannot help them. In order for you to do that they need to be humbled. Sometimes they need to learn the hard way. I believe what goes around comes around, they will experience the same pain I have only a lot worse. There are consequences for every choice we make. It breaks my heart but that is the way The Lord does things. When you love someone you have to let them go and make their own mistakes. I don't have to take this burden on myself any more it is in her hands.

I am so grateful for my blessings, yesterday I had the opportunity to go to the temple. I went by myself because my husband is out of town and so I did initiatory work. I love the temple it is my place of peace, where I can feel the joy of being a member of the true church. I am so grateful for my great husband, who is helping our daughter right now by doing drywall in her home. He left me a beautiful note on the mirror before he headed out. He has done that the last few times. He will never know how much that means to me. True love comes when you can not stop smiling. My daughter has found that true love, she can't stop smiling. It is like Elder Holland says when you are truly in love you want to shot it from the roof tops. She certainly wants the whole family to know and she wants to shot it from the roof tops. When you find that kind of love you have to pinch yourself and can't believe our Father in Heaven could send you someone so perfect for you. I know that kind of love. I was sent someone that wonderful. I am so happy that I was granted such an incredible blessing, and that my husband has always been a romantic and truly loved me and has always shown that. I can see that in the young man my daughter has met. She was dating a young man that we knew she would never marry. She had to figure that out for herself, but she did, we are so grateful for that miracle. Because she is a different girl and I love who she is even more. I love all of my children but at times, they can be misguided, that is why it is so important to stay close to your family. Family's are of our Father in Heaven they would never stir you wrong. They know you better than anyone else.

I am happy to be in my daughters home, she just brought a new special little spirit into the world. You can not hold a new baby directly from Heaven and not know that our Father in Heaven is real. Such a precious little child. Now we can understand our Fathers great love for His children. No one can began to understand the kind of love a mother and father have for their child after experiencing the miracle of life. A mother comes close to death at this miraculous time of baring a chose child of God. It amazes me how quickly motherhood can be forgotten. As children grow older it is difficult to imagine any child ever not listening to counsel from a parent. There is no one on this earth that loves them more or knows them better than a parent. We do not spend years with our children without knowing them. It's sad to see someone destroy that bound in a matter of months. If a person truly loves you they would never want to destroy that relationship, they would only want to make it better. But unfortunately the wool is pulled over our eyes by deceitful means. And yet we all claim to live the gospel of Jesus Christ. Oh how sad that we cannot see through rose colored glasses. I am saddened to see such sad things.
