Tomorrow is the 4th of July, so we will share in the fun things that go on for the 4th today and Monday. Phillip and his wife will leave to go to a family reunion to Wyoming tomorrow and then they will go on the Michelle's to enjoy some fun with her.
The girls had their guys over this morning for breakfast, it was fun for them. They thought it would be the last time they would see them. Because they went to see a movie tonight. But Jeff had no desire to see it so he came over here. We went in the back yard and had a great time playing volleyball. Nate was a great asset to our game. And Jeff is so fun and I think out of all the guys he makes Kim and Tam laugh the most. So they were happy to see that he came over to see them one last time before they all head out. At any rate we had a great evening. I was so much fun to play our volleyball game.
Mike and his daughter have had "Hand Foot and Mouth disease. It has caused alot of trama. Mike has sores all over in his mouth, had a high fever and a sore throat for about 4 days. He has been out of work all week. His little daughter has had it as well. We got it from the next door neighbors who have been using our swing set and trampoline. Apparently it travels through the mouth and can be carried on to the hands. Kimberly has it all over her hands. Horrible blisters that will not stop weeping. It is pretty miserable. But I told her it is better there than in the mouth so you can't eat. I don't think right now she agrees, but she is making it through. I just hope everyone is well soon. Tamara has had the ear ache that comes with it, so my family has been effected some what. We will be glad when it is over. But we all love the 4th of July and what it represents. We are all glad that it is on Sunday this year so we can treat it will song, spiritual talks on patriotism and just have an all around good day. Plus it is fast sunday which makes the day even better.

July 2nd Friday
My girls have been having a lot of fun with the guys from Arizona. I think they are feeling wonderful just to share in some new experiences. The guys names are Brad (Paul's cousin who has been here a couple of times before)Ty, and Jeff. Brad has his call to Africa. Jeff has his call to Canada, and Ty has his call to California. We wish them the best. I know that our missionaries are wonderful young men and watched over by the Lord. They are prayed for so many times in the temple each day, and we as members of the church constantly pray for them.
Kimberly and Tamara have played volleyball with them and done some video's with them. They have eatten with them and had some good talks. It is something new and fun for them. Tomorrow they will be going to a movie, so I am not sure they will see much of them in the afternoon. But tomorrow morning they will make them breakfast. Their famous french toast and syrup. A great day.
It is fun to have my children around. They hope to be out of here in a while and we will miss them. But we will have fun with them while they are here.
Nate got home tonight. It was good to see him safe and sound. He starts work on Monday. So we can celebrate a little with him tomorrow.

July Thursday the 1st
Today my husband, daughters and I went to the temple. It was fun to be there with some of my family. Such a beautiful place that is so peaceful and wonderful. The spirit once again was so strong. I know that all of my children need answers to their prayers, and we need some real help as well. I appreciate so much my childrens desire to enter the temple. It can be such a haven of security. I love it.
Nate went on a fishing trip to the green today. I hope that he takes care of himself. It would be a pretty sad thing to see something happen to him. I am sure he will call Lisa every night because she needs to know that he is safe. He is in his element when he is on the river that is for sure.

June 30th Wednesday
We have had a pretty exciting day today. Lisa and I walked the mountain. It was fun to be alone with my daughter. She will soon be on her way to a new adventure with her husband in Colorado, so sometimes it is fun to be alone with her.
We went to the pool today. Kimberly and Tamara's friends from Arizona came with us. They arrived yesterday, and will be here until Sunday. Sierra had so much fun with them. She even learned how to swim short distances today. It was fun being there with my grandchildren and my daughters. We had some pizza and got kicked out because we brought it inside the pool area. We were sent out until we finished it. It was pretty frustrating because this is suppose to be a community pool, and cost us each 5 dollars to get in. In Florida the community pools were free. I just don't understand it sometimes, but we did have a great day.

June 29th Tuesday
After yesterday we are some what exhausted today. Nate I know will be leaving soon to go fishing for a few days. At times I think that we can be pretty boring to him. He has taken his little boat or raft I guess you would call it on the river a couple of times. Each time he brings it back he has to do a bunch more repairs on it. It takes him quite a while and he has to buy some parts because it keeps breaking at welded parts on the raft. So it is a process. He also wants his wife to do some sewing on it before he leaves in the morning. He bought some new straps. I just hope it holds up for his fishing trip. He will start his new job in Colorado on Monday, so he has a few days to do some fishing which is his passion.
We have been taking every opportunity to play volleyball in the back yard, and we have been taking some fun walks. It is great to have family around.

June 28th Monday
I am glad for this day because I have my children safe home. Kimberly, Tamara, Lisa, Emily and Trina all went down the river today. They ended out turning the raft over. Kimberly found herself under the raft. She pulled herself up on the ropes that were hanging down and she pulled herself on top of the raft. Lisa got near the raft and found Emily struggling to get out of the water but couldn't because the rocks were slippery. Lisa grabbed a hold of the raft and then pulled Emily up to the raft as well. Tamara found herself on the other side screaming where is my sister. Trina found herself on the other side as well. They all felt it was a miracle they all made it out of the river. They lost all the towels they had taken. Ruined my new camera, lost their sun glasses, flip flops, and ruined the raft. They lost their oars down the river. Some people grabbed them for them which was nice of them. Unfortunately as they all felt like they were ready to lose their lives no one seemed to care. Their were all kinds of people just watching them not even realizing they were in trouble. They all came home pretty shock up. I think the person that was effected most was Lisa who has a couple of precious girls at home and realized her responsibility in being the guardian of all the other girls. A pretty tramatic day. Of course Trina is just visiting so that was a concern as well. So we are all glad that they are safely home and well.

It was a wonderful spiritual talk and prayer. I often wonder and did at that moment of how many people pray for us everyday. How we are a bit of a burden to our parents and sometimes some of our children. I so want that burden to be lifted from everyone. I know that my prayers were answered today just because all of our family is safely home. But I pray with all my heart that the other burdens that we carry will be lifted. I have promised myself it is back to work for me if things don't soon change in our life.

June 27th Sunday
It has been a wonderful Sunday today. My husband gave a beautiful lesson in Sunday School today. We had a great Relief Society lesson as well. I felt the spirit strong and am so grateful I am a member of "The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints." I count it a blessing every day of my life. I am just so grateful for the miracles that happen on Sundays that bring everything into perspective.
Kent and Carolyn came down to visit family today and we got to see them. It is so fun to see them once in a while. We kind of interupted dinner, so we only stayed long enough to meet my nieces boyfriend. But it was a fun visit. Trina was here from Virginia as well and we got to see the whole family. It was fun, fun, fun!!!!!
Emily was in charge of making sure everyone brought something to the dinner. It was wonderful and we are so glad everyone came. Everyone participated and helped clean up. But Phillip and Katrina did the most. They seemed to stick with things until they were done, because we went over to visit family once again.
I have a daughter who is dating a guy right now that I know is not a very good guy. She brought him to Sunday dinner. I know that she thinks that she loves him, but I wish she could understand who he is and kind of let him go. I know that he is dating a lot of other girls and is a big player. I'm concerned because I know that he is not one to commit. My daughter needs to move on, because she has been dating him for a couple of years now. I know with in my heart that at times he has not been kind to her at all. I love her very much and know that their is some one better out there for her. She just needs to let the Lord take over for her, and guide her in the right path. She is such a good girl and I often wonder how someone so special can think that she is not worthy to have someone who is as good as her. Sometimes it is hard to help your children understand that you are inspired, just because you are their mother. And someday when they became a mother of adult children they will understand.
