March 26th Saturday

I know how difficult it is for my daughter to be at work especially when she doesn't have a good day at work. Apparently there were a lot of coupons brought in and they were so confusing she kept having to call her boss. The people were pretty rude. Every time she figured something out, the people told her it was wrong, and in the end it turned right. It certainly was frustrating for her. Then TC got had her hair cut off. It is above her shoulders. She asked KLC to take her because she knows a girl in her ward who does a great job. TC got it done free because she donated it to locks of love. Well after going and visiting KC at work she came home. JL was here painting a picture for me and say TC's hair, she lost it because it was so short. My other daughter jumped in and there were hurt feelings. TC was crying because no one loved her hair, KLC was crying because there was a miss understanding. It was just a rough day. I started to cry because my husband is having a rough day. We were a pretty cried out family by the end of the day. But it didn't take to long until it got better and everyone ended out being great. Sometimes days are just a little frustrating and this seemed to be one of those day. Of course we all have underlined problems when we get angry and it is usually something totally different than the thing we get angry about. I know tomorrow will be a better day because it is the Lord's day and for some reason the spirit changes on Sunday. I will be grateful for a day of relaxation and a spiritual high.

March 25th Friday

Another day of alot of frustration. One of the girls is working tonight and that always makes life a little tough for my other daughter. So after FC worked until late we went to take my daughter that was working supper. She convinced us to all stay and paint some ceramics, until close, so we did. My daughter helped me to do a swirl cup. I used as my main color green, then I added red, blue and yellow as the swirl colors. It was so fun, I hope it works out amazing. Then my husband did a cowboy boot. His favorite thing to do is wear his cowboy boots, so it was fun to see him painting a cowboy boot. He painted it a little brown with dark brown accents, then he put red in the stitching along the sides. It was a cute boot. KC bought them for us so we will get them next week. I can't wait to see them. KC had us do these fun things because my husband isn't quite himself the last few days. It is going to take some time to finally get himself back to the happy go lucky self that he is. So until then we just made him more up tight by telling him to paint something, and him picking something small. I feel bad, but I still can't wait to see them both.

March 24th Thursday

It has been a hard day today. It seems as though things are getting to my husband. I wish I could make his life perfect, and he could find answers to his prayers. I think when you get older your life should be all figured out, but ours is not. We have been really good about making some progress on getting our house off the foreclosure charts. But apparently that isn't true. The payment that they require us to pay now until October is a hefty payment. We have not made 4100 dollars a month in a long time, and especially for one bill, that is what we are expected to make in just house payments until October. I know why my husband gets down every now and then. We have made the payments for the last 2 months because of miracles. Now we need another one for this month. I think having this on your mind all the time can weigh heavy. My husband is finishing a basement but by no means will that help. You just can't make enough money doing construction. Especially when my husband feels bad everytime he charges this person. Besides this person has paid us a lot, but it takes alot for this family to survive. I was suppose to have a primary meeting tonight, but that failed because I have 2 people in my presidency that couldn't make it because of sickness. It gets bad when sickness is just every where right now. I just hope that they get well soon. Especially my counselor that has sharing time on Sunday. She has strept throat so I hope she can over come it quickly.

March 23rd Wednesday

Today has been one of those days that I have wanted to give up on the day, then I went to Relief Society, of course I couldn't find anyone to go with me, so I was sad about that. J&D went to the temple, my Mom and RH went to ADH birthday party, KHC had other obligations. So I went by myself. I am so grateful that I did. It was a fantastic meeting. We ate dinner and then we had Sister Vincent give us some great information on hope, that a pioneer lady, who is part of her ancestors experienced. Then a lady who isn't a part of our ward was asked to speak. She spoke about some amazing things. When she was a mother of 4 small boys she found herself divorced and having to go back to school and find work to support her small family. She was also presented with another problem. Her 14 month old little boy was not normal. He ate his silverware and his glass plates. He ate electrical plugs while they were plugged in the wall. She would find a pair of scissors thrown across the room stuck in the Sheetrock and a plug cut in half. She knew she was going to find her little boy dead in the room, but instead she found him hiding smiling, saying that was a buzz. She lost it no job, a crazy little boy, and she had gotten a call that the bank was foreclosing on her home. It was 11 at night, it had been a hard day. No one could find a cure for her little boy. So she sat down at the table and cried. Some one walked through her front door. She said at this point she didn't care who it was a what they were going to do. She hated life and the mess she was in. While it wasn't a stranger, it was her father. She thought I am so happy my mother will make everything right. She will give me the money to catch up on my house payments, she will help me with my boys and she will have a solution to my little son. But her mother was there, it was just her father. He said, go in the kitchen and take a paper towel, wipe away those tears. Then go in your bedroom and pray to the Lord he will know what you need to do with Dalian. He created Dalian, he is the only one that can help you. She realized that she could make it, that she could accomplish what she needed to with the Lord on her side. For years she tried to find out what was wrong with Dalian. Dalian would find batteries in her remotes and other places, smash them and suck the battery acid out. A doctor said he had a convention in China where many doctors would meet, surly someone in the world had this same problem, but that didn't happen no one in the world had this problem, they could not find an answer, so there wasn't hope. One day she took him to a doctor who thought he could help. She was very nervous about bring the child in the office. The doctor just told her she was taking things to hard, so sit down and calm down. With in 1 minute after she brought him into the room he found a thermometer ate the end off and sucked out the mercury. The doctor called a code red and panicked, they this dear sister had to tell her doctor to sit down and calm down, there was nothing to worry about. He broke open walls, eat the sheet rock and the insulation he called cotton candy and eat it as well. She said he is now 21 and as crazy as ever. But I know that the Lord loves me and he takes care of me. I went to school, became a school teacher, continued in school and now at am a principal. I am remarried to a wonderful man. She is also the Stake Relief Society President of a single adult stake. She made a promise to the girls there if you go to your meetings, if you do your visiting teaching and if you pay your tithing, the Lord will help you in school. One young lady came to her a few months after she made this promise and told her this story. She was suppose to take a test in her stats class. She hadn't studied as much as she would like too, but she went to take the test anyway. She went to take the test and found out that it was a week earlier. It was a term test. She was very concerned so she went to the professor. She explained her circumstances and he told her she could take the test in a week. It was something that had never been done. She ended out taking the test with a 98% on the test. Miracles happened for this young lady because she did what she was suppose to do. This dear sweet lady has been through so much. She said she has the picture of the Savior that is done in blue and portrays Christ coming at his second coming. It is hanging in her kitchen. It is there because it represents to her his out stretched hands to mean. I am here to help you in anyway that I can. I will take care of you and I am here for you. The Savior is her miracle, he has helped her make it through all she has needed to go through. I know that he can help me as well. I know I can make it through all I need to with his help. Tonight I went to a meeting that helped me so much. The whole meeting was on hope, and it truly was a miracle for me gave me great hope. I am so grateful that I went.

March 22nd Tuesday

It is kind of sad when you have to get back to the routine of every day life, because all the grand children are gone. That is hard for me because then I start to focus on our life. I know how hard it is to wonder where our life is going. We started on protandim, but we had a great idea and it blew up in our faces. I think my husband is getting a little depressed. He keeps coming up with some great idea's and they seem to blow up in smoke. When my daughter was here I told her what I want to happen in my life. We are really trying to be better people. My legacy to my children would be that a miracle would happen and we would be able to get out of the financial bondage that we have found ourselves in. I know that with the Lords help that can happen. I want my children to know how important it is to live the gospel, to go to the temple, to keep your covenants, to help other people, to fast, to pray, to pay an honest tithing, to pay fast offerings, to do everything you can that is right and then the Lord will help you. And miracles will happen in our lives. I certainly can be happier when I am trying to be better than I was the day before.

March 21st Monday

Today LM took her children and went home. Before leaving they rounded up some food storage that NM wanted them to get. They got that all in the car and the children were able to be comfortable and fine. LM got to go to the temple on Saturday evening. I am so glad that she got to go. She said that is her greatest desire when she comes here because we can watch her children. I am so gald to do that for her. We hated to see everyone head out this morning. Our company is really all gone and that makes me very sad. But I know we will see them all again this summer and that I am happy about. I hope that LM calls me when she gets home. Ever since she left the weather has been terrible. I just hope she escaped it all. It has just gotten worse since she left. I think she left just at the right time. If she would have waited at all the weather would have certainly been a problem for her. LM did call and they made it home just in time for SM to go to school, which was their plan. The weather was beautiful all the way home. That was a blessing for them and me. Just another little tender mercy for the Lord.

March 20th Sunday

Today has been so fun. We celebrated LM birthday. Everyone brought something. JL made a beautiful coconut cake. We had roast, gravy, potatos, vegetable, salad, and rolls. It was a wonderful day. MC and CC even came with their children, it was good to see them. They have both spent a great amount of time at the hospital taking care of little EJ. We love him and will be glad when he can come home so their lives can get back to normal. JL gave our sharing time. She did an awesome job. LM took MJ to nursery and she loved it with her mom at church. We had some great meeting as usual. I love Sunday's they just bring a special spirit into our home. The grand kids are a joy to have around on Sunday because there is always something to do. They are entertained easily but none the less they need to be entertained and that is what is so fun. Little EJ is doing better. LM would like to see him but cannot because he is still in the NICU. So I guess she will have to see him when they are in town again. By then he will be home and up to his normal size. We are so happy that he is doing well. CC hates that he is still in the hospital, she said it is like being in a prison here because he has to be eating enough and if he spits up at all they count that. I know how desperately they want this little guy home, but I am so grateful that the hospital wants to make sure everything is perfect before they will let him go. We have been down to the hospital a few times but have helped give him a blessing twice. We went down tonight to give him his second blessing. I am just gratiful for the power of the priesthood. It is a blessing in all our lives.
