April 14th Saturday

Once again I have neglected this post of mine,  but I wanted to remember some important things that have happened in the last 2 weeks.  Michelle called me and told me of an experience that happened to their family where she knew that the Lord intervened.  She went out to lunch with her sister in law, and her mother in law.  They were at a cute little parlor eating out on the lawn, because it was a pretty small parlor and there wasn't room for everyone in the parlor.  So everyone was eating on the lawn.  Tessie her little 2 year old anounced that she needed to go to the bathroom, so Michelle walked her across the street.  there was a carousel and Tessie wanted to ride it.  Michelle said, we need to go to the bathroom and after we get through eating we will come back and ride the carousel.  So she took Tessie back across the street to the parlor, everyone finished their lunch.  Michelle was nursing her baby when her oldest daughter anounced to was time to go ride on the carousel.  Tessie took off running.  Everyone was screaming,  Tessie stop!!!! She wouldn't stop, everyone was shaking.  Michelle yelled at her oldest daughter to run after her.  It was to late and her daughter turned back to her mother.  Suddenly her sister in law grabbed Tessie.  Michelle went running to her and said,  Thank-you for saving my daughters life.  Everyone knew she had been hit.  She went right between two cars so there is no way anyone driving could see her.  A car swerved to miss her but the other one was right there.   Michelle said she knew Tessie was dead.  She knew that someone was there an stopped her from being hit.  It was a miracle and her life was spared.   Miracles happen every day in our lives, and I am so grateful that little Tessies life was saved. It was certainly a big blessing in all of our lives.  

March 28th Wednesday

It has been a busy day at the Bosch Kitchen Center.  It is the weekend of Conference and we see so many wonderful people from out of state.  So we have a busy weekend a head of us.  But it has been a long time since I have written on this blog.  I had a great birthday this month.  I received a wonderful sweater form Lisa and Michelle.  I love them.  I got shoe's from my girls.  Kim, Tam and Karalee.  My husband took me out to dinner. I got some sheets from Jennifer and Derrick. I just appreciated all that they did.   I have had a few wonderful miracles happen the last couple of weeks, and I just wanted to share.  I had a really bad cold all week long a couple of weeks ago.  I had extra shifts at work because my girls had gone to St. George.  I had a baking class to do.  I just prayed that during that class my nose would not run and I wouldn't sneeze.   I just want you to know that I didn't sneeze once and my nose didn't run at all.  I was truly blessed to be able to do my class.  After the class my nose started running again.  But the miracle of making it through that class made me understand that I was important to the Lord and he even cares about the small little things that we pray for.  I am so grateful for pray.  That weekend when I did sharing time in Primary it was the same.  The Lord truly blessed me to make it through all the things I had to accomplish and I thank Him.

February 12th Sunday

I haven't written in this blog in so long and I know that I need to do it.  We had a wonderful Christmas.  Everyone was here.  Next year that will not happen.  Emily is moving to Houston where her and her husband and little family will live.  Here husband has a job there after he graduates.  That will happen in May.  I hate to see them go.  There little girl is getting so big.  Lisa and her family will move if her husband can find another job, so that he can get out of the debt they are in because of dental school.  Michelle is doing great but you never know where the future will take her and her little family.  Phillip I am sure will look for a good job once he graduates in April and who knows where they will end up.  My family is important to me and I count them a great blessing in my life.  I love each one of them and there spouses and my wonderful grand children.  I will hate to see them when they go.  Soon Kim and Tam will be getting married and will be heading out to new lives.  I and my husband will be empty nesters.  That will be different for us.  I love being in our home.  I love having my children close by.  They are important to me, and I can't believe that they have all grown up and are almost all on their own.  I love being in our ward.  We had a progressive dinner this week and we really enjoyed it.  We went from the Lamoroux where we had dinner, to the church for refreshments.  It was fun to be there and get to know people in the ward better.  It was a wonderful evening.

December 25th Sunday 2011

It has been a very special day!  Today is the greast Christmas ever, because it is on a Sunday and we were able to go to Sacrament Meeting and celebrate in the birth of the Savior.  I loved being at church this morning.  After church we as a family opened our presents.  The wonderful thing about that is all my children were here from out of town and we were together as a family. I had the privilege of seeing all my grandchildren at some time during the day and all my children.  I don't think there is a greater blessing in the world, then being a part of such a wonderful family.  We all had a great Christmas.  All day I have felt like an abundantly blessed person, just watching all my children and grandchildren, as they opened their presents and were able to be so excited about what they received.   I heard the comment a couple of times made by some of my children, I just can't believe that I have another present to open. I think that they were all so grateful for what they received because it was given with such thanks and heartfelt love. It was a great Christmas for all of us and mostly because we were all together and shared in the excitement as each person opened their present.  Thank-you everyone for this beautiful day, I am just so grateful for each of you and for the Savior of the World who made out this all possible, and gave us the wonderful gift of repentance and life its self.

December 23rd Friday

It has been at extremely busy day at the Bosch Kitchen Center. We just run all day long.  We have had some extremely busy days.  I get home at night and I just want to fall in bed.  But I want you to know that we have had some extremely humbling blessings. Kimberly and Tamara work with me at the Bosch Kitchen Center, sometimes it can make life a little bit better because these 2 are my last.  I know that the time will come when they will leave our home get married and move on.  I am a little concerned about that day because I know that my children and grandchildren want to come see me because Kim and Tam are here to entertain them, but when that changes I know that the visits will be much different.  It will be a change in all of our lives.  I know the time will come soon when all my children will be married.  I hope that they pick men who will love them and take care of them, who will do anything for them.  I received a wonderful Christmas present today.  We will soon be able to enjoy our home even more because we will be able to continue to pay mortgage payments on it, and enjoy being here for a long time.  I know that the Lord is in our lives and I am so grateful for that.  Tomorrow is Christmas eve and soon my children will all be here to enjoy that special occasion with us.

I started this blog because I wanted to reflect back on family memories and I wanted to remember the tender mercies of the Lord.   It is only 1 in the afternoon, and we have already experienced several tender mercies.  Tamara dropped her HP pad in the tub a strange story.  She was watching a movie in the bathroom.  She stepped out of the tub and kicked her cord and the HP pad went flying.  She was sick.  She got it out of the tub and tried to turn it off but that didn't work, so she had to let it die.  She put it in rice.  It has been a week and she tried her pad this morning, but it wouldn't so on.  But it was dead, so she plugged it in a left for school to take a test.  A miracle happened and the touch pad went on.  Another miracle I just found my best scissors and I found the top plastic square that goes on my sewing machine.  We receive tender mercies throughout the day and I am going to try harder to recognize them.  It is a miracle that 4 in the family got HP touch pads.  My husband had heard that they were not being made anymore, so he got on the internet and tried to order some because they were only 99 dollars, but they were not available.  My children  persisted and one of them stayed on the computer pretty much all day ordering them.  Finally after hours they were excepted.  But we just kept hearing they didn't  have  them in, but weeks and months went by, they said the order we be filled an we received them a few weeks ago.  Miracles certainly happen.  They make school  easier for my college children.  We know it is a blessing to have them.     Thanks to the Lord for our tender mercies this day.

October 8th saturday

Many miracles have happened today. Frank, Lisa and l went to the temple today, while we were at the temple our miracle happened and we received our apples from my dear sweet neighbor Sister Hales So many apples.  Rain, and all my sons went out and picked 5 huge  boxes of apples. They were still picking by the time that we arrived home from the temple. Michelle was working hard trying to get everything ready to start the applesauce.  It was a long day  but  we all pitched in.  We ended about 2 in the morning by the time we got all the bottles filled and the kitchen clean.  We  did all together 240 bottles of applesauce 35 bottles of apple pie filling,  48 pint bottles of baby food.  It was hard work on everyone's part, but well worth it for all of my children to take home some fruit.  It was a miracle every thing turned out where the apples were concerned and they were all done before my children had to go home.  Thank-you everyone for your help, for me it was all about building relationships.  It was great.  I love my family they are a blessing in my life.
