It has been a very emotional last two weeks. Little Wyatt went back to live with his Heavenly Father on the 20th of October at 6:09 in the morning. It was so hard to watch Mike and Chrissy and family go through this hard, hard thing. I was notified on Wednesday that Mike was going to Logan to get a colt so Wyatt could ride. Chrissy got a call from President Oaks telling Chrissy and Mike that they needed to set some goals. He said when his wife was diagnosed with cancer in 2000. Her number one goal was to see her last child married. Her wedding was in 2 months. He said she lived to see that all happen before she left this earth. So Mike and Chrissy set some goals and decided they needed to get a pony because that was something Wyatt really wanted, so they got the pony, brought it home and let Wyatt ride it. The ride only lasted a few minutes, but he loved it. On Thursday I got a phone call and was told if I wanted to see Wyatt one last time I needed to come to his home. Derrick and Jennifer had planned to go out and put lights on his home, so he could have one last Christmas with the family. So Derrick drove me out to Fairview. When we got there Mike, Chrissy and little Wyatt were no where to be found. The children were there with Brother and Sister Mckinney. So with the children running around us Derrick started to put lights up. I watched the children why their other grandparents went inside the house to wrap presents. It took Derrick a long time. Lights are not easy. I kind of helped him by holding the lights once in a while for him. Mike and Chrissy took Wyatt back to the hospital he was having a really rough time. The hospital was putting more platelets in Wyatts body. He needed to have a few hours just to share in Christmas with his family. Phillip and Frank were on a job 9 hours away. Mike had called me earlier and told me to call his Dad. He needed him home, I didn't even began to know how serious Wyatt was until that phone call. So I called Frank in tears and told him he needed to come home. Here I was at the Craven household taking care of the Craven children knowing that things with Wyatt didn't look promising. How could I help ease the pain that this family had to go through. I am just a person and can't even began to take this experience away. They have to go through it and all I can do is watch. So scarey and at the same time a total and complete nightmare. The only one that can understand and help ease the burden is one that knows and has been through everything. That is Jesus Christ our elder brother.
Chrissy and Mike finally arrived at home. Chrissy carried Wyatt into the house. I could tell he wasn't doing well. Chrissy carried him in the house as though he were a glass doll. And at this point that is what he was, so fragile. She carried him into the front-room on the couch. It was getting later in the day and they as a family needed to get Christmas going. Wyatt had gone earlier to buy each of the children a Christmas present. He wanted to make sure everyone had one. Chrissy held him to try and keep him going. I could tell he was extremely weak. She kept loving him and asking him if he were in pain. It hurt me to watch them, how do you take all the hurt and pain away and make it OK. All the children opened their presents. They received a beautiful big egg. They could each rub the egg and a beautiful baby chick would pop out. Such a great gift. Some of the eggs broke open sooner than others. Some were big eggs, some were small. Wyatt's was a big egg and it took a little longer to crack open. He was becoming frustrated and so was Chrissy. It was such a fun gift for Wyatt to give all his siblings, but it would have been nice for each egg to crack open at the same time. They were very cute chicks.
Frank and Phillip finally arrived, when I saw them I started to cry. Michael embraced his father and just cried. Soon Phillip walked up, Frank let go of Michael and Michael and Phillip embraced. I don't think I have ever been so emotional. They would not let each other go! It was an experience I will never forget. For a few minutes they felt each others pain and nothing could get in the way of that love and concern. I hurt so bad! But my sons and their father were their to support each other in this most difficult time. Miracles had happened and they made it home after a drive. I can't even imagine what we would do without family! What our lives would be like if we didn't have each other to support us when we need each other so desperately. In Chrissy and Mike's hours of their own Gethsemane, when pain is so bad that they would like to give up and die. Their hearts could be ripped right out and they couldn't be in more pain. Our hearts certainly are hurting desperately for Mike and Chrissy right now. We will miss little Wyatt so much, but we can't even began to imagine what Mike and Chrissy are going through.
Christmas continued. The children opened many gifts. A lot came from Wyatt! Wyatt received many gifts as well. It was as though he would still be there in the morning. It was a wonderful experience to watch. Jennifer came with her family and so did Tamara. They had made beautiful Paw-patrol pajamas for everyone. (Wyatt's absolute favorite.) They had bought just the right material, they were incredible. They didn't stay long at all, just long enough for Charlotte to walk over and see Wyatt, and talk to him for a few minutes. Kimberly had put everything together for the Christmas stockings that Jennifer and Tamara brought. They also made rolls, they bought chicken from Costco, plus grapes. Just some simple stuff that Mike and Chrissy could throw together to be able to feed the family. But I am sure at such a hard time no one wants to eat anything.
My children have been incredible through Wyatt's whole sickness. I couldn't be more proud of them. They have certainly been there when they needed to be. They love Mike and Chrissy and their sweet children. It has been extremely hard for them to watch this family suffer so much. Many prayers, fasting, going to the temple. doing whatever was asked of them through texts, they are amazing. I love them and I am sure Chrissy and Mike are so grateful for family.
Back to Christmas, the family enjoyed all the presents they received and continued to thank Wyatt and give him hugs. I could tell that Wyatt was wearing down. I am sure drugs kept him going. He couldn't take the noise any more, so Chrissy took him in to her bed. The people from the wish foundation soon came with Santa, they brought a big trash bag full of toys for each child. I stayed out of the room until each child was called in the room separately Then I made sure the gifts were brought in. Frank stayed in the room and filmed everything. It was fun to walk in the room and see Wyatt get so excited to watch his brothers and sisters get fun presents. He would smile with them and get excited. Ellie fell fast asleep before she got her turn. It had been a long night. Chrissy asked Wyatt if he wanted to open Ellie's presents or some more of his own, but he did not. He was totally and completely worn out. Soon everyone left the room except Mike and Chrissy. Frank and I stayed out on the couch together. At about 1 o'clock Mike came out of the room and asked Frank and I if we wanted to say good-bye to our sweet grandson Wyatt. Mike had released him back to our Heavenly Father. My heart sunk, what could I possible say to this little boy that I loved so much, that I would never see on this earth again. I walked into the room and found a little boy looking so perfect and beautiful and peaceful. He glowed. I didn't want to leave this very precious moment. For just one moment I say and felt heaven. Such an incredible spirit in the room. But I knew the rest of the night was Mike and Chrissy''s. This was their child and they needed to be alone for the next few hours, with their sweet angel.

September 19th 2018
Mike: I have never worried throughout this journey of pure and udder hell but I am concerned now. Wyatt has half of the heart rate function he has had and his breathing is double or triple of what it has been. His heart rate has continued to drop all night. Last night was the hardest night of my life, listening to my would be kindergartner struggle for every single breathe and still doing so. I know each of you are continuing to pray for Wyatt and I appreciate it. At this point they would like to remove his chest piece due to infection and I'm not sure his little heart can even handle the sedation while they do it. Once they are done, they will put an IV in his hand to utilize that for a week before they do surgery again to put a new line in. This is going to have a devastating effect on him emotionally. He needs extra thoughts and prayers. I believe through prayer miracles can happen. Wyatt needs those now. He needs miracles, he needs angels pumping his lungs for him and needs them pushing on his heart because he can't do it alone. The time when we can't do it others need to carry us and I need him to be carried by others on the other side of the veil because I am helpless.
Michelle: Oh Michael this breaks my heart. Miracles are wrought through faith. we will join our faith and prayers with yours.
Tamara: Praying for angels.
Lisa; James ran in the house about an hour ago and said that he found a quite place on the farm and knelt down and prayed for Wyatt. He said, "I did just what the Lamanites did." Madison said, "You mean Joseph Smith"! He said "Yeah" He must have been feeling Wyatt needed an extra special pray.
Jennifer: And I just asked Chrissy about Colton and Wyatts upcoming surgery. Thinking about a gift for Colton. I'm so insensitive. I wish I would have seen this first. I'm so sorry. I will pray for Wyatt and will start another fast now. I sure do love YOU! Chrissy and Wyatt. I wish my faith was enough to take this trail from you. Hugs!!!!
Emily: This makes me sob. We will be praying for angels! Keep fighting the good fight. Yesterday I went to insitute and they asked what Jesus Christ means to each of us.....we all came up with different words to describe him and our feelings of him. I couldn't help but tear up as I thought of him and how much he means to me. How much he has delivered me from over the last few years. Among the words shared were hope, light, life, and love. I felt then and still feel that we truly can have hope through him. We can have faith in him and he will deliver us even through the most difficult times. I'm so sorry Michael that this is your trail. I just want to hug all of you. My thoughts will be with you. Love you!
Katrina: Just called in Wyatt's name for the prayer roll at the Cedar City Temple, St. George is closed. I don't even know what i could say that would give any comfort. We will continue to pray and fast for Wyatt and your family. I truly believe in angels and that there are so many invested in bringing support and peace to your family. His namesake being one of those. We love you Guys!
Michael's heartfelt words a couple of days before Wyatt went home to be with his Heavenly Father and his brother Jesus Christ! We will forever miss this little guy and think of him often!
Okay family, you won't see much from me on Marco because it's to hard. Wyatt has started eating a little more, mostly applesauce, so thank you. I am writing this for information, I am not loosing faith and I truly believe from the depths of my soul that Heavenly Father can cure Wyatt in a blink of an eye if he wants too, but I also know that at some point Wyatt will make a choice to stay or go. Chrissy had a beautiful opportunity to talk to President Oaks on the phone yesterday and he told Chrissy about how his wife in 2000 died from cancer and at some point they stopped praying for a miracle and started praying for a goal. That goal was that she could see her last daughter get married that was 2 months down the road she did and died the following weeks. He also said that at times like we often look to take heroic measures like looking out of the country for a miracle, he said those measures are not necessary. He ended the conversation with that said, I don't know how much longer Wyatt has with us. He is struggling he throws up daily, he has pain all through his bones which means that the leukemia is building up in his bones to the point of expanding and causing him tons of pain. We currently have him me on heavy meds to help with the pain. He cannot pee he forces himself to pee as he pushes hard, which makes me think his kidneys are not functioning well. The primary oncologist at PC told me Monday that after his bone marrow which is an organ shuts down he only has 2 more organs that will have to shut down before he is gone. I spent hours in the temple last night with Chrissy and as we sat in the Celestial room I said a prayer I offered Wyatt back to our eternal Father so that he might be healthy again and be a missionary for him and an angel for us. It will not be painful for Wyatt only for us for a short time. Heavenly Father knows my heart and I have now offered him everything, if it is his will to take him he will and if not I will forever be grateful. I cannot express my gratitude for each of you and the money that will be raised in the haunted forest may have been for other expenses not medicine. I love each of you, my faith in God and atonement is real, the only thing that this changes is me wanting to fight even more on behalf of the liars to ensure I have an eternal family.
I just put a few of the families comments after some of Mikes posts. Our hearts will forever go out to Mike and Chrissy and their children. Losing a little boy is so hard for all of us, but we will never know or experience the horrible pain that this family has gone through, and will go through for a long time. I just hope with time the pain will heal a little bit, and they can remember the good times with Wyatt.

November 22nd Thanksgiving 2018
It has been an amazing week. We had a beauty Thanksgiving day today. Everyone was here except Emily and her family, Lisa and her family, and Kimberly and Caleb. Kimberly went into labor yesterday and she had a little baby boy at around 5:30. We were glad to hear everything went well. We have been waiting all day for word about her having the baby. But she finally did and she is naming him Wesley. He weighed 8"5 and is 21 inches long. He is a very cute little boy. We are so grateful that things are well and he is healthy and strong. We are so happy for her and Caleb. Michelle, Tamara, and I took Caleb and Kimberly Thanksgiving dinner, plus pie. They had the baby at Lehi Hospital. I'm sure they appreciated it but Kimberly kind of needed us gone. She hadn't nursed the baby yet and she was trying to do that. But it was still good to see that they were doing great. Back to the day, we had a wonderful day. Everyone worked hard and we all ate together as a family. I made the turkey, dressing, gravy, coconut cream pie and banana cream pie. Jennifer made 2 pecan pies, a mixed berry pie and a chocolate pie. Michelle made some dressing that Neil likes and 2 apple pies plus apple pomegranate salad. Karalee made the sweet potato casserole, potatoes and brought drinks. Mike brought orange jello in memory of Wyatt and a vegetable.(carrots) Phillip did 3 blueberry pies, plus 2 apple pies and a beautiful salad that Katrina did. Phillip also made sourdough rolls. We are so blessed to have so much, and such wonderful food, a new little grandson and incredibly Thanksgiving day full of family, wonderful food, and a special day of being so grateful for so many blessings. We all missed Wyatt, but know that he is where he should be and he is certainly with us in these special family gatherings.
Sunday January 13th 2019
Today is Sunday. We had stake conference today. It was extremely good. An area seventy spoke his name was Jorge Beccerra. He gave a wonderful talk as did all the speakers, but I would like to just talk a little bit about his talk. Because it impressed me so much. He talked a lot about his grandfather. He was born and raised in Mexico. His grandfathers father took off early in life and left the family alone. His older brother did the same so there was just his grandfather and his grandfathers mother. His mother developed a horrible sickness and died. That left his grandfather an orphan. He lived on the street at a very early age with no one to take care of him He was 11 years old. He became an alcoholic. He continued to live on the street. A long time later he began to noticed a young lady. This young lady caught his fancy. He started to ask her out. But each time she refused and told him he was a bum on the street and she had no interest. This happened for a very long time. She finally after consented. It wasn't actually a date. They got on a horse and he took her a long ways away. He kept her until she consented to marry him. They were married and ended out having 13 children. He remained an alcoholic. One day some sister missionaries knocked on their door. His grandfather let the missionaries in just to flirt with them. His grandmother took his grandfather aside and said. These are servants of God and you do not act like that around them. The grandmother had meet with them several times, but the grandfather did not know about it. So the sister missionaries proceeded to give a discussion. They had flannel board stories back then and they were showing Joseph Smith. Suddenly the grandfather said I know that man. The sisters said, "You can't know that man unless you have been introduced to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints." He said, I have not but I have seen that man. I had a dream and in the dream I was sitting on my porch looking out over my property. There was a stream in the middle of my property suddenly it became a huge river. A cobra came towards me and wrapped itself around me trying to suffocate me when suddenly it opened its large mouth ready to eat me. That man (Joseph Smith) came all dressed in white, took a sword and smote off the head of the snake. What an amazing story! In reality Joseph Smith saved his life. His grandfather changed, never took another sip of alcohol and became a member of the church. Brother Beccerra said, he had felt his grandfather throughout his life, as he had received many important callings in the church. Another story that he told was they were in conference in the year 1980 President Ezra Taft Benson was speaking. He told all the woman of the church to quite their jobs, come home and be mothers. Your children need your. He said his wife did exactly that. It was really hard on him and his family financially. He said they relied on his wife's income. He even had to borrow his in-laws car, because they had no car to get around. He said it was a really hard thing but they did it because the Prophet asked it of them. This is a great talk for me. I have felt a real need to help with family finances. I certainly haven't made a big income. I guess I have the wrong job and certainly expected more than I received. Now all my children are gone from my home. I am so proud of them and their decision to be home with their children. They are incredible children trying to do the best they can.
My little grandson Wyatt left this world on October 20th at 6:09 A.M. He was 5 years old. He was such a beautiful little blonde haired boy with a beautiful big smile, and dimples that would break your heart. I wish that I could take that little boy in my arms once again make him smile and see those amazing dimples. he could brighten up anyone's day just by smiling. Now he is in heaven with his Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Free from pain and there with people who love him as much as we do here on the earth. I know that I will see little Wyatt again and I need to write down things that I remember about Wyatt! The most important memory to me was Wyatt himself running through the front door. Coming in the kitchen, finding me, wrapping his arms around me and looking up at me with those big blue eyes and saying "Grandma I love you'"The only grandchild that has ever done that to me. He was always so bubbly and happy. There was a day that a couple of the kids gathered around Kimberly and started brushing her hair. So cute, they tried to see who could make her look the best. I remember when Chrissy and Mike came to Christmas morning, they had some gifts with them. We decided that we would like to give them our simple dollar store gift before they opened their other gifts. It was a punch man. So you would punch it and it would stand back up. They played with it so much, and it became there number one focus. They didn't even care about their other gifts. Mike finally had to remind them that they needed to open their other gifts. They were so happy and could have played with that gift all day long. Nothing else mattered at that moment but the punch man. I am grateful for simple things that can make us so happy. I remember one year when we decided to remake the scene of the birth of Christ on the Eve of Christmas. Everyone was here. It was amazing. Emma and Sierra became the wonderful narrators. All my grandchildren sang beautiful Christmas songs. As they portrayed the manger scene it was unbelievable. They all did so well. Wyatt was right along there with them. He was just little but he was one of the shepherds. A very important part. I was so fun to watch my grand children. Now Wyatt is with the Shepherd of us all! I just hope one day I can run to Wyatt and say, Wyatt I love you. And witness my Savior, my older brother Jesus Christ and cry because I am so glad to see all of my loved ones again. Especially little Wyatt.
Wyatt Craven our little grandson!!!!!
These are the comments from everyone right after we heard the news that little Wyatt had passed. It is like Michael's first statement. I am broken. I'm sure that little family has felt as though their hearts have been ripped right out. So much pain, I don't think anyone can even express how much!!!
Mike Craven writes: Wyatt passed away this morning at 6:09. I am broken. There will always be a hole inside.
Michelle Walter: I am so sorry
Frank Craven: He was, is and always will be yours forever. We love you all.
Karalee Mora: Oh Mike.
Frank Craven: Tears of loss are being shed here....while tears of joy are being shed there, by those who now embrace him....thanks be for them. He is not alone!
Phillip Craven: What Chrissy said last night is true, he was too good to be here. He truly has made us all better and has made the world a little brighter having been here. We love your family, and will do everything we can to "watch with you one hour" in your gethsemane.
Michelle Walter: John Wadsworth read a quote about that at his granddaughters funeral. There are some children that are too perfect to be on this earth. We love you guys and are mourning with you.
Elizabeth Craven: I love that little boy! Now he knows how much! I love your little family and I pray for peace for all of your! I shed tears of joy because he is released from all his pain! I'm so sorry, we will all miss him. Give each other a tearful hug from me! He was just to perfect and was only required to be on earth for 5 years.
Frank: "There will always be a hole inside" as well there should be. The very fabric of your life of your life has been torn asunder. It will always be there, how could it be less, for he was loved so much. but through our Lord and Saviors mercy it will become easier to bear. (For all of us.)
Lisa Mcnight: Heavenly Father loves You and Chrissy so much. He trusted you two to raise one of his most valiant sons. I know you will miss him. My heart truly breaks for you.
Tamara Jensen: I can't help but think of Grandpa and Grandma Craven welcoming him to the other side with open arms. I can imagine how hard this is for your family, and we will continue praying for you! Love you tons! And we agree with Phillip, we'll be here for you through your gethsemane. Watching over you, and crying with you. Whatever you need we're here for you.
Jennifer Louder: We are so sorry. If we were there we would hug you and cry with you. We love you all so much! And will miss Wyatt deeply.
Emily Kendall: I woke up at 3 am this morning without the ability to go back to bed. I feel like my spirit knew. I was so sad to get your text this morning. I've been unable to think of anything to say all morning. I've been unable to think of anything to say all morning. I love you! I will miss that little boy and think of him often. I can't imagine your pain. It seems unfair that the world still turns and people are still going about their lives. We will mourn with you. I wish I was there now to hug you a long time. I'm so sorry!
Kimberly Davis: Michael, I'm so sorry you have to go through this. I love you so much and hope you know that. I can't imagine the pain you and Chrissy are going through, just know we're here for you with anything you need.
Mike: We have decided we are doing the funeral on Wednesday of this next week. I wan all of you there so be here please. 10:00 AM
Karalee: Michael can I handle flowers?
Emily: I will be there.
Karalee: And of course we will be there.
Tamara: Wouldn't miss for the world.
Karalee: We can also handle food. With all us girls it shouldn't be an issue.
Tamara: I can do food, or help with food. Or anything.
Michelle: Of course we will be there.
Tamara: Agreed
Mike: Thank you Karalee.
Jennifer Of course!
Kimberly: We wouldn't miss it. I can help with food and whatever else. I can make the program and have them printed too. Karalee, let me know if you need help with flowers.
Frank: Update; Viewing 9:30 Funeral Services 11:00. Mount Pleasant Stake Center
Mike: In primary Wyatt would often wait for his name to be called to pick songs during singing time in primary. The one he would pick thee most is Gethsemane, I and Chrissy have decided thee musical number will be this song, and we would like all of his cousins and primary or whom ever is there to come up and sing it. All Wyatt ever wanted was to be with others and I cannot imagine him not asking everyone to sing it with him.
Jennifer: This would bring Charlotte such joy!
Michelle; My Kids favorite song. They would be honored to sing for Wyatt. Tonight Leo was scared of the dark. I told him he didn't need to be scared because the Holy Ghost is always with him. He said,"And Wyatt is too Mom, Just like the Holy Ghost. He is always with me.
Lisa: My Madison and James would feel so honored.
Emily: Audrey loves singing that song. She will be so happy to sing for Wyatt.
Jennifer: I just have to say how thankful I am for Marco Polo. The videos of sweet Wyatt.....
The funeral was absolutely beautiful. Chrissy and Mike both spoke. Kate gave the life sketch of Wyatt. Even Colton gave us all some very profound words. He said "Wyatt isn't dead he is right here with us. He just went to see Jesus." What an amazing little boy! Mike and Chrissy both did a beautiful job. An amazing funeral, I don't think I have ever been to one better. So many people there, and so much support. I am so grateful for so many good friends and so much family. My family was amazing. My immediate family couldn't have been more supportive or helpful during the last couple of months. So much support. This funeral was very hard. I don't think I have cried like that in my life time. It is so hard to lose a grandson but even harder to watch your son and daughter in law go through it. My heart just aches for them. Losing a child has to be one of the hardest things that anyone has to go through.

Time has gone bye and I need to write. My little grandson Wyatt was diagnosed with Leukemia April 31st' He has been at Primary Children's Hospital since the 2nd of May. We have not been to the hospital as many times as we would like to be. Chrissy has been by Wyatt's side since he was diagnosed. Chrissy's Mom has been there with her most of the time. It is nice for her to have the support of her Mother. I know that Michael has been there a lot. But he has to go to work to help support the family, and he feels like he needs to be with his other 5 children. So he spends a lot of time traveling. Frank has been up to give Wyatt a blessing twice. Each time he went up it was because Wyatt had a fever that was concerning. The first time Wyatt had a high fever was on a Sunday Mike was in Fairview with his other children, so he called his Dad to the rescue. He took Derrick with him to help give Wyatt a blessing. They made it back in time for Priesthood meeting, but little Wyatt did get a blessing. He is a little touchy, because I think he is poked and given so much medication in the hospital that when he can say no to something he will, plus he is a very tender little guy because all he has been through. He wouldn't let them give him a blessing. So they gave the blessing though Chissy to Wyatt. What a great wonderful blessing that those two wonderful men hold the priesthood and they can go and give a blessing when they are called to do so. I'm grateful for the wonderful men in this family, who can help out.
Karalee has been an angel where Chrissy is concerned. She has been trying to take her to dinner or anything she can do to give Chrissy a break from the hospital. I know that Chrissy wants to stay by her son and has a hard time leaving him. If it was my child I would be the same.
The family has been amazing. We were all able to go to SLC and share in supper with Chrissy. It was fun to see her and talk about Wyatt for a little while. It was nice to see her get a little relief form the hospital. I'm sure at times she would just like to grab Wyatt and run.
