February 28th Monday

This day has flown by. I've tried to get things done and haven't accomplished all that I wanted too. I have come to understand that there is always another day I don't have to be perfect all the time. My husband and I have been reading the scriptures in the evening. I have loved doing it and miss it so much when we don't do it. We are sharing in the scriptures and I think that that is such a blessing. I love the scriptures and learn more from them each day.

My husband has been gone today doing more on J&D's basement. It has been crazy for him. He will need our help tomorrow because the basement needs to be clean so her can start taping. I am so excited for that.

We were invited to M&C's tonight. We watched a great little movie as a family, and ate together. It was a lot of fun we watched "Megamind". I laughed a lot and it was fun to get my mind off crazy things and have some fun. That was our family night, and it was great fun.

February 27th Sunday

N&M left this morning with their children. I was sad to see them go. It has been a great visit for them as well as us. Before we went to dinner last night. JL took MW's children to a fun place to play for children. They were able to do all kinds of fun things. Go down long slides, bowl, ride merry-go-round. They all had so much fun. I am sure they had a great visit here and I am happy that they did. It has been awhile since they have had so much fun. I am sure they enjoyed their visit. Our Sunday was amazing. We enjoyed it very much. We heard about a lot of calls extended today, and most of them were for me as the Primary President. I recieved a call on Wednesday morning with the out come of our calling extended to people from one of counselors in the bishopric. They told me about some of the people I had asked for the last time I submittted callings. They put everyone I wanted in all the callings, it was amazing. I was thrilled, I finally get the people I was hoping for. It is amazing how the Lord has certainly taken care of me. I will become who I need to be in this calling. The Lord will take care of me.

February 26th Saturday

My daughter wanted to take 2 of her children to visit my sister. My sister does some muscle testing and my daughter wanted to find out how to deal with some issues that her children are having. I know that she can get some help, and I know that it will take some concerns away from her. So I went with her. Her husband decided to join us with little TW. They decided they could go shopping while we went to see my sister. It was a lot of fun all a way around. We went to see my sister and most of her children were there to visit, so we got to see them. She helped my daughter with all her frustrations and we found some great solutions. It is nice to be able to find solutions when the doctors don't seem to have the answers. N&T went shopping and they got some great things. I think both parties found solutions to their frustrations. We were all happy to go home. D&J and N&M took my husband and me out to dinner. We went to a great little restaurant which was one of those restaurants we certainly wouldn't normally go to, it is just little and looks like a hole in the wall, but the food was absolutely wonderful. I enjoyed every minute of it. It was for my birthday and I greatly appreciated it. We had a great time. While we were gone the children had a great time. K&T had a safari party. They made cute little hats out of cardboard and paper. They made personal pan pizza and they ate a great dessert. Chocolate pudding with crumbled Oreo cookies crumbled in it. Then they put gimmy worms in the pudding. They called it the dirt, worm pudding. It also had whipping cream squirted on the top. A great little dessert. Then they built tents and they had wild animals all around, of course they were stuffed. We all had a great evening, but it was getting very late, so it was time to get everyone to bed. After that we all sat down and watched "Red" together. Of course we put it on clear play so it was edited. A super wonderful evening, it was so fun. I am truly blessed with such a great family.

February 25th Friday

We have been greatly enjoying our grand children today. They are so cute. My husband and I went to the temple this morning, when we returned our children and grand children went sliding and had a snow ball fight. I wanted to participate in that but by the time we got back the 9 inches of snow had melted off the front lawn, and a lot of the snow was gone off the back lawn. I was pretty light snow so I knew it would melt fast, but didn't expect it to melt quite that fast. I am glad everyone had a good time. My children work at a fun store which they do ceramics in it, so the grandchildren went there to have fun. I tended little TS, she is such a sweet heart. We made dinner together so that everyone could eat by the time we got home. We had a great time and the other grandchildren had a great time doing ceramics. N&M went shopping to find NW some clothes. They found a lot of sales, but nothing fit. So on to a new adventure tomorrow. The family ate a great bean casserole. We were all tired and went to bed. It was a tiring day.

February 24th Thursday

I was able to go and do the rest of my visiting teaching this morning. I am so happy to report that I have achieved do my visiting teaching this month. It was fun to go visiting teaching even though I would like to have done more this month, because it was one of my ladies birthdays. I took her a loaf of bread earlier this month but not on her birthday. I hope to do better with that.

My daughter finally made it tonight with her husband and cute little family. It is suppose to be horrible weather for the whole weekend. I was just grateful that they made it before it started to snow. It ended out snowing later in the evening. I was so grateful for that. They needed to get away just because their little dog died. I know how devastating that can be. We have lost a few dogs in our time. Anyway I was so excited to see the whole family. It is fun to have them all come to visit us. Such a cute familly. I am so blessed to be part of such a great family and such great grandchildren

February 23rd Wednesday

I took care of my visiting teaching this morning. The part that was so interesting to me is that I missed one of the ladies because I don't listen to my answering machine like I should. She had a voice over in SLC so she had to cancel. I didn't know that so I rang her doorbell a couple of times and could hear some noise but no one answered the door. I guess her husband and children were there but she was not there. I called her later and we played phone tag for a while but I finally caught her on her phone. She explained the situation and we talked on the phone because for a few minutes because she is so busy this week. I hope to see her next time, but I did catch my other lady and it was great to see how she was doing.

My sister came and wanted me to go to SGU with her, but I told her that my daughter was coming to see me tomorrow and that I'd better not go. I have visiting teaching to do tomorrow and didn't want to miss that. Sometimes things come to me that would be fun, but I need to do the important things. I know that we need to do all we can to be blessed, and that is what I intend on doing. I know that we need the Lord's help with all we have coming up this month and that is what I want to happen.

February 22nd Tuesday

I have been struggling to get all my visiting teaching done. It is hard to catch all my ladies at the same time. I finally have them scheduled for tomorrow and on Thursday morning. My visiting teaching companion called, she won't be able to make it. She has been suffering with kidney stones. She has about 7 and is just sick of it all, so she is going to the hospital to have a morphine shot. A feel so bad for her. She suffers so much with health problems. It is sad to watch her suffer so much. I will visit 2 people tomorrow and 1 on Thursday. I am happy to do it just to be able to see each one of my sisters. I know how important visiting teaching is, and I am certainly glad to be a part of it all. I had a Primary Presidency Meeting. tonight. We figured out all the people that we needed to call for callings. It is so nice to finally feel as though people are where they need to be. I am so excited to think that all our calling will be filled. I certainly am happy with the callings. I dropped the list off to the bishopric so that they could fulfill there part and things will be ready by Sunday.
