September 5th Sunday

It has been a great day today. I love attending church especially fast and testimony meeting. We heard some great testimonies today. I love it when a lot of men bare their testimonies and today that happened. I guess it is because it doesn't happen very often. There was a few women that got up and one young women. She talked about the "Book of Mormon" and how she has made it a goal to read from that book 1/2 hour a day. She stated how it has literally changed her life. It was through an institute class that made her make this goal. This was a very simple testimony and yet was powerful. The whole meeting was exceptional. Then Frank gave the Sunday school lesson again. As usual it was great as well. It was about us becoming the best spouse we can be. He talked out our marriages and how we need to keep the Lord our lives at all times to help us grow together in love and a good relationship. Then in Relief Society we talked about the bad things that crowd our lives every day, then what we can do to keep our chins up and keep going in spite of it all. Sister Morris talked about her 2 autistic daughters and how it can be so hard sometimes, but she all knows that our Father in Heaven is always there to help her. And her greatest joy is good music. It helps so much. Then a couple of single sisters talked about how being single is really tough. But prayer can help so much. It was an inspiring meeting.
I am grateful for church every Sunday.

We had a great meal that Kimberly and Tamara prepared before they went to the single adult ward. I made rolls and a vegetable to go with there salad and chicken broccoli casserole, great meal. Kimberly and Tamara enjoyed ward prayer tonight. Especially the munch and mingle. Great Day for us all.
