Saturday September 25th

We fed the missionaries this evening, which is a very rare privilege. When we lived in Florida we were privileged to feed them once a week. But since we live here we don't get the opportunity near as much. My son actually excepted the assignment but his poor wife ended out having the stomach flue. So at our sons request we made the meal. We had french dip sandwiches, a Russian salad, and fried ice cream. It was an incredible meal. We thoroughly enjoyed it. We were suppose to be having our meal at the church just before Women's Conference, but because we volunteered to feed the missionaries we ate at home, then attended the Conference. It was an incredible Conference. Some amazing talks were given, but the one that touched my heart the most was President Monson's. He talked about loving everyone and not being judgemental. I think the thing I enjoyed most was just his tenderness in speaking. He spoke so reverently about the 85 widows who he had taken care as a bishop and how he had since spoken at each one of their funerals. It was just such a special talk. I am so grateful for such an amazing prophet who loves and cares about each one of us.
