April 2nd Saturday
I have listened to both sessions of conference today. They have been fantastic. I just marvel that these wonderful great men can be so inspiring. Each talk was wonderful. But I want to share a great experience that happen with K&T. KC had to go to work today. She arrived at 10 and would not be home until 4. She would miss both sessions of conference. A very sad thing for her. I love that she loves Conference. So she took with her a mp3 player so that she could listen to Conference when customers were not in the place. Which is most of the time, because they are a new business. She was able to listen to the first session, but ran out of battery at the last speaker. So she called TC and had her put her cellphone up to the TV so she could hear the last speaker. By the second session she had the mp3 player recharged again so she was able to listen to the second session as well. What a testimony to me, that where there is a will there is a way. Some special talks by the General Presidency of the Church. It is such a blessing to us as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, to be able to participate in conference twice a year. The men went to priesthood session while we as women made a desert. We had a wonderful barbecue before the priesthood session, so all the men were definetly not hungrey when they attended their meeting. I love what the priesthood represents and love that the men have there own meeting. The meeting was all about love for our wives and how the men should treat their wives, with love and respect. The men that aren't married should be married. They shouldn't put off marriage because of money or other reasons. Marriage is very important for everyone. The rewards to marriage can way out live the hardships, because the hardships can be done together.
